So did Internet Explorer really
download the page that fast? Yes, but you have to keep in mind that I viewed this
page in the browser once before I did the initial testing. To say the least, it
would have probably been in the lower to the mid - 20s. The only reason why I can
think that the page took so long to download was because of the Xoom frame located at the
top of the page. If it was not there, I believe the page could have downloaded
anywhere below 20 seconds.
The layout on this page is simply simple, but
since the page (at the time of the review) is a stand-alone page, with no other features
than the ones I will be reviewing, I will list my suggestions after I describe the layout.
The layout on the page has links and a sentence
to give it a description. Besides the background and the picture to the right, that
is really all that the page has. One thing the site want to do to look better is to
use tables and make the text a tad bit smaller. Now, I can not make the site
move to another server (all "free" servers have ads at one point or another),
but if it doesn't like the frames at the top of the page, it has the choice.
Nevertheless, I am pleased with the layout because of its simplicity, and if it wants to
change it a little bit, I hope the simplicity still lies there.
