Review Page: Slivers and Paper Cuts Reviewer: Greg Mosbacker Date: Feb. 20, 1999 Introduction Most Nirvana pages today lack what i value most in a page, originality. This page however, has only original material, thats why it's one of my favorites. Graphics The graphics on this page are really good. There plain, simple, and quick to load. It doesn't have a ton of graphics like some page do, but thats good. It's not crowded, and looks great. The main page looks great, it's a frames page with the frame on the left side. He took away the frame boarder so it kind of looks like a table, therefore alot more neat. In the left frame he has a title picture and his updates, which to me are really important in a page.   Multimedia This page does not have alot of multimedia, but it doesn't really need it. He has some pictures of Kurt's original Lyric Sheets, which are really cool. He has, Blew, SLTS, In Bloom, and Lithium. He also has a bunch of scans of Kurt's artwork, and alot of tickets and posters.   Information This page has some great original information that you can't find anywhere else. Interviews: He has about 20 interviews, I think there some of the better Nirvana interviews. The Bios: This is a scan, and a typed out copy of Nirvana's original bios. It's actually pretty funny to read and see what it says about Nirvana. Cobain Child: This is a little section about Kurt's childhood. it's really good Rebellious Kid: This is also about Kurt's childhood, this goes alot deaper than Cobain Child. This is great to read, i learned a few things i hadn't known before. Opinions: hehe, i think this section is great. It's what Kurt thought about most songs on Nevermind.    Other Other sections he has: Awards- A collection of awards he's won.   Nirvana ICQ - This is a huge list of Nirvana people that use ICQ. i've seen a few other of these around, this is the largest. Memory Book -   You can post your own memories of Kurt that you have here. it's great to read through and see what other fans have to say. Quiz - a quiz. :) Connection About the test: Both browsers were closed before the test. Internet Explorer was opened and tested, Netscape was tested after. Time was ended when the icon in the top right hand corner stopped. Internet Explorer - 15 Netscape Navigator - 17 The connection test was done on a 56k X2 Winmodem connected at 52,000 bps.  Remember download times will vary depending on your modem speed, browser, server of the page, telephone line activity, and your internet service provide (ISP).  This will not guarantee that the page will download at the same rate on your computer as it does mine, this is just an estimate. Conclusion This is a great original page. I don't really have any complaints about this page, except maybe get some more original section, which he says he'll have some soon.
