This site is another one of those which the browser you choose is of some importance. This site loaded in about half the time with Netscape Navigator with equal performance. The download speed of a site is very important.
Graphics
This page uses frames. The left frame contains links to the site's content. The right frame has the site's main logo, followed by links to the song of the week, the video clip of the month and three fonts. After that is some information about the site, followed by four banners. Possibly removing two of those banners would help increase load time. You could also try decreasing the size of the main logo. The site uses a black background with white text.
Information
If you want to know what the guitar tabs to a song were, this page has them. Next comes the lyrics. Each song is in its own page, so you don't have to wait for all the lyrics, as are the guitar tabs. Next is history. This section just gives a brief rundown of the history of Nirvana. There are ten interviews, articles and text files in the interviews section. This site is a member of four webrings. The links section has text links to nine Nirvana sites. Webmasters can win an award. Finally, you can read information about the webmasters.
Multimedia
Videos are taken from mtv.com. There are some Hole and Silverchair videos included. The sounds are from geffen.com, except four mp3 files. There are 57 pictures. They are text links, without thumbnails. Thumbnails could help a lot.

The connection test was done on a 33.6k Winmodem connected at 28,800 bps. Remember download times will vary depending on your modem speed, browser, server of the page, telephone line activity, and your internet service provider (ISP).
Conclusion
This page was fairly good. The articles are nice, but are probably available elsewhere. The pictures were okay, but thumbnails would help a lot. More sounds and videos could help, and reducing the download time of the main page would improve the page a lot. All in all, I enjoyed my visit to this site, and I think you will too.
