The Jackals

The Rats (and technically Dead Moon as well, for a handful of songs) had Louis Samora on drums, but his talents weren't "limited" to playing the kettles... here we see Louie, on the left, with his band The Jackals. Oldfashioned rock'n'roll, kinda pre-GI-Elvis-style if you see what I mean, with garage attitude and energy galore. Way cool! The line up was: Louis Samora, vocal/guitar; David Corboy, guitar; Steve Casmano, bass; Robert Parker, drums.

They had a self-titled LP out on Anubis Records in 1984 (#AB001) and an LP called "Prowlin'" on Nervous Records in '87  - maybe even more, I'll try and find out, also about possible line up changes.*
