We spent much of the tour in Ilkeston.
Collin was a most gracious host to the club.
He was also the owner of the King's Head Pub.
Danny was also a most gracious host to our club.
He was also the owner of the White Cow Pub.
This is Phil, one of my Ilkeston R.F.C. friends in Ilkeston, England. Phil let me stay in his apartment. What a gentleman, he let me have his bed while he slept on the floor. Thanks again Phil.
In back of Phil is a pretty sharp place. If I recall, a friend of Trixie worked there...that's all I'm gonna say.
Here's a match our host Ilkeston R.F.C. played and won.
Here I am in the pub having a pint of their best bitters.
There's Phil working behind the bar.
I want to thank the girls, Dianne, Karen and the others who made us happy with "Bitters" and stuff.
Sometimes we had to wash our clothes. We would put our
clothes in a washerteria, walk across the street to a pub and wait. While at the pub we had "Bitters" and played pool.
Here's Muldoun about to make a shot.
