They're a tricky bunch, Boyzone, but with a quick sip of our truth potion, we get Ronan to fess up to his darkest secrets... Are you a millionaire? I'm sure I am on paper,though I'm yet to see it! I have a nice house and a few nice cars.I've lived a great life so far! Do you have more money than you know how to spend? No, not at all! If I had more money, I'd spend it! Were you surprised when Stephen announced that he was gay? Well, obviously we'd known for a few years! Did Stephen call you before making his press statement? Yeah.He came to us saying, A guy's trying to out me-what do I do? We all sad down and chatted about it.Whatever happened, he had our backing. Was it a relief when it was out in the open? For him, more so!I'd say yeah, it's also a weight off my shoulders not worrying about it any more.It was a very gutsy and difficult thing to do. Are Boyzone splitting up? No, not at all! We're still very much together!We've just finished our British tour, then we're going to be recording our fourth studio album for release later this year. Have you ever come close to splitting? Anything...like who took the last of the milk or the Cornflakes! Have you ever had to change your son Jack's nappies just before you go on stage? No! I can't bring him to any of the shows, 'cos the music's too loud for him! But I've had to change his nappies just before I've left to go to a show quite a few times! Are you scared your solo career may not be as successful as Boyzone's? Boyzone have had 15 hit singles and four No.1 albums. I think I probably would be upset if I wasn't as successful as Boyzone are. Do you burn or tan when you sunbathe? ohhh, I burn terrible! I'm a mess! I've never had a proper colour in my life!I'll go healthy red, then white again...then I go blue! (laughs) What do you do at the beach? I don't go to the beach- I hate the beach! Are you and Westlife hooking up for a duet? Well, there's a talk of it, for their second album, but I don't know yet. True! Is a Boyzone movie on it's way? It's coming.We've nearly finished the script!We'd like to have it out by the middle or end of next year.It's a true story of how we began.There are five other guys playing us. What about a Boyzone exercise video? No way! We're the most unfit bunch of eejits you've ever met! Have you ever forgotten something important before you've gone on stage? My microphone, swear to God! I've done it a few times! Then I have to run to the side and someone's waiting with it, going 'you tupid eejit'! (laughs) Have you ever doen karaoke? Oh yeah! When I've had a few fizzy pop's I'll do anything! When do you like to say nothing at all? When Jack was born, no words could express what we felt, it was incredible! This single is written and produced by Ronan himself in co-operation with none other than mister BeeGee Barry Gibb, who wrote the biggest hits for the three piece from Australia.Barry Gibb is also responsible for the production of Ronan's first solo cd, which will be released in April. 20TH FEBRUARY 2000 *     Belfast Telegraph (thanx a lot to Amanda Wasson amandanro@hotmail.com  for providing the information to all fans) KEITH DROPS PANTS FOR CHARITY Clean cut Boyzone star Keith Duffy dropped his trousers in front of thousands of screaming girls during a charity concert in his native Dublin. The 25-year old heart throb, who was helping to host he sell out Childline concert at the Point Theatre last night, exposed his muscular legs and a pair of sleek black undies after being egged on by his fellow compere Denise Van Outen.  Recently engaged Miss Van Outen said Duffy has promised her he would take his trousers down and with the show drawing to a close the star obliged, telling the crowd he never breaks his word.Stunned stars from fellow Irish boyband Westlife, who where preforming at the time, looked on hardly able to believe what they were seeing.The show, which was screened live on Irish channel Network 2 starred girl band B*witched, English trio Atomic Kitten and the Vengaboys.It was headlined by Westlife who had flown back from America to play the show.  The concert helped raise cash for Childline, the telephone help and councelling service for children run by the ISPCC. *     Sunday World  (thanx a lot to  Jolanda jolanda_mayer@yahoo.com  for providing the information to all fans) Hi Ronan here, This has been a week of highs and lows in the Boyzone camp.Firstly, we were all thrilled for Dustin when he beat all the males in the country, winning the title of the Sexiest Man In Ireland. Sure we always knew that!Needless to say, Keith's delighted, fair play to him, but he's even more excited about the prospect of becoming a dad for the second time next month.It was also the second anniversary of mam's passing this week, so it was a time for all the family to reflect on the happy memories she left us.All the Boyz were deeply saddened by the death of our pal Louis Parker, a UK booking agent who became a very close friend. He was such a lovely guy and he'll be sadly missed. Our deepest sympathy to his family.Stephen wants to become Mr. Nasty, he's hoping to land the part of a villian in a movie and has been talking to ace Irish director Jim Sheridan."I'd like to play either a hero or a baddie, although a villian would be quite a meaty role," he says.

14TH FEBRUARY 2000 *     news from Yahoo (thanx a lot to Pat BZ pat_bz@hotmail.com  for providing the information to all fans) Ronan signs with Hollywood agency Ronan Keating has signed up with a top Hollywood agency in a bid to launch his movie career. The Boyzone star is now on the look-out for scripts, which he hopes the William Morris Agency will pass his way. Ronan is currently living in a top hotel in Los Angeles with his wife Yvonne and baby son Jack, while he works on his solo album.Manager Louis Walsh said: "He's already been offered loads of parts, but he's had to put any plans of making a movie on hold for the time being. He's still got a lot of work to do on his album, so I think it will be this time  next year before he seriously considers a movie part."

It looks like all Irish people are family from eachother.Take Boyzone-boss Ronan and Nicky from Westlife:they didn't have only the same looks,the guys also exalted the same.You should almost think they are twins! Who wins this look-a-like game? When Westlife introduced themselves at the office from the record company, we were as pleased as punch immidiately.Ronan take the trouble to introduce Westlife himself,we thought.Not!The blonde guy who was worthy waiting,was Westlifer Nicky.Not strange by the way that he's a look-a-like from Ronan:that's his big serve as a model.Nicky:Since the start of Boyzone,am I a fan of Ronan,I look up against him.The likeness is scary,since Ronan cut his hair.Both guys have blonde hair,blue eyes,same height(difference 1 cm)and a very worthy radiation.could you distinguish them? Codewords:Faithful,marriage&family. the Westlife guys are all single,except for nicky ofcourse. He's with georgina for over 4 years now and those two have serious weddingplans.After all Ronan is only one year older then Nick and married for almost two years. Both find the marriage and family-life very important. Nicky:I'd love to marry Georgina and have kids,because I know she's the one for me.Why should I wait?Erm,maybe because you'll go along with Westlife for a while.His manager Louis Walsh doesn't want him to marry aslong he's singing in Westlife.Glory or love:that's a heavy dilemma? Politics. Both are interested in politics.Ronan will rather today then tomorrow be the president of Ireland.It will be violent to do a lot of good things for the Irish people.As a president you can change things drastic. Also Nicky keeps himself busy with politic.Georgina is the daughter of the modern president of Ireland!Nicky could better take care he knows all politic ins&outs,otherwise he can forget it with his father-in-law. Eager short skirts! Ronan and Nicky are falling for the the same persons.Their ideal women are,ladylike,very female thus.They don't like steetwise babes with a big mouth. But if she has table manners and she wears a skirt regular,then Ronan and Nicky be for it.And girls who'll only go for glory may whistle for it.O, Ronan and Nicky agree with eachother again! No matter how hard Ronan will shout that every Boyzone member is as much important,he's still the one who stand the most in the spotlights.He sing almost every song on his own and with the girls he's the most popular.Ronan:I don't understand why the fans always want to have me.I'm married,have a child and I am bored.Nicky is almost the same:well he doesn't sing all leadvocals but he's on his way to become the centre of Westlife.He has nothing to complain about popularity.His name will be shouted the most during a performance and he'll get a lot of offers to marry him. Lyrics neccesary? That he can write nice songs,Ronan has proved that.And yes as soon as possible Nicky wanted to work as a singer/songwriter:I want to write songs for Westlife.I haven't had the time for that but it's going to happen for sure.I also want to write a song for Ronan.But at one condition,he has to write a song for us.Two hands on one pot-belly...Irish people will be known as their unquenchable thirst for alcohol.Not for nothing Ronan and Nicky likes to spend their free time in their favourite Irish pub in Dublin.And if they'll had the chance,they would go together.Ronan:I like to drink a beer,there's nothing wrong with that?We'll drink always a beer after a performance, just to relax.Nicky and his band mates did have take over this ritual.We are very curious! when and whom will have the first pot-belly.
