Saturday October 10th 1998 :
The BIG day, the B-Day, the BOYZONE at WEMBLEY ARENA day !
We went out shopping all the stuff we had left first, but then we finally  to Paddington, to get Tube tickets for Wembley Park station, said and done, we ofcourse jumped on the wrong train, but finally we got the right one. Had a chat with two other girls in the same train who were also goin to Wembley, but they were kinda boring, and had just been fans since about the beginning of the year, and were huge fans of Shane and Ronan, they both didn´t like Steve at all. *stooopid people, how could you NOT love that bloke, huh ???????????* WE finally reached the station, and started to walk to the Arena. There was a HUGE crowd walking from the Stadium, cos there'd just been a soccergame, or something like that. LOts of goodlooking guys there. But I had only Stephen Patrick David Gately in my mind (duh, as if that was something *NEW*)We went to Wembley Central, waited a while, and then my mam wanted to go to the Arena again, (soz about that Kasey, we´ll meet up laters), so we went. HUGE que on the redside, where we were supposed to go in, and suddenly I heard girls goin all MAD and run over to the "fence" that's round the Arena screaming - SHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANE !!!!!!!!!!  - KEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTTT !!!!!!!! and when they yelled  STEEEEEEEEEEEVE !!!!!!!! I had made it there too, but I saw nothing much more than from his nose and up *smiles* cos there were LOTSA ppl in the way. And I screamed for mam to bring me the cam, but she didn´t get it fast enough, unforthunately, so they dissappeared again, but atleast I knew they were THERE. We qued for another ½ hour before they let us in, and I ran over to the merchandice stuff and bought myself nothing more than a scarf actually, cos I had no money left *SOB* But, that´s me, ya know. I am happy about the scarf. I had a tee already anyways, much cooler than the ones you could buy there. We went to look for block 19, just to find it the most FAR  back you could be, up by the wall type of seat. Fun eh ? Not really. But ofcourse I saw from the TV screens Steve's gorgeous smile when he finally came on. The support acts were 4 of em, Paperdolls came on first, they weren´t very good at all really, then the "kind of" sexy Christian Fry came on, he had ACTUALLY some good songs, but I do have heard much better ones, I can tell ya. Then there were lights on again, for about 10 mins, then the *NEW* Irish boyband Westside, usually calledIOU (don´t ask ME why !), and preformed some songs, yeah well, they were okay, but nothing other than all the other 1'00'00'00 ones there already are (I don´t count Boyzone as one of them, they are DA BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZT !). Then Hinda Hicks came on, I don´t like her at all, she´s just.... eh what can I say... Too much really. Then the lights came on again, and then - in  20 minutes time it went dark, and now everyone knew, Boyzone'd come on in short time, and there was such excitement in the air at that time. The light came on. That black "curtain" in front of the stage dropped down, and none but Shane, Mikey, Stephen, Ronan and Keith stood on a platform thing that came down from the ceiling. All dressed in black clothes. The started singing Must Have Been High, and I just cannot describe the feeling of seeing THEM standing there, on stage, in this MEGA show singing just simply sowonderful as only they can. Then followed by What Can You Do For Me, and One Kiss At A Time came Baby Can I Hold You, I almost died, they all looked so gorgeous, especially Stephen, ofcourse. After All That I Need they all went off stage, and shortly after Steve came on together with some dancers and sang Games of Love (yeah, I´d love to be your Juliet, Steve...) and then they left and he sand Where Did You Go on his own. What really annoys me is that he did not sing either Shooting Star or You Flew Away. Oh well, guess they had so much other stuff planned for this show. I missed Shooting Star anyways. Oh well. Then Steve went out for a clothes change, and then there dropped down a "banner" from the ceiling and it said " GREASE ". The Boyz came on dressed in leather jackets, like in Grease with T-Birds on the back and the speaker presented Boyzone as the T_Birds. First Ro started to sing Grease (-Is The World), then he sang Greased Lightnin'. Then Mick took over singing Summer Nights together with the backing singer, and after that, Steve sang You´re The One THat I Want together with the backing singer. Can´t remember when, but they also rolled out the car on stage which Ro laid on during Greased Lightnin' . He´s gorgeous. Out for a quick clotheschange, and then Keith came on and sang Where Have You Been, joined by Ro in the end, then they went out and Mick came on singing, not surprisely Good Conversation. Then the stage were empty and  there were showed bits from the A Different Beat video, (you know, the African pictures) on the TV screen. And then B_Zone came on again, Ro all dressed up with a Zebra suit and a Zebra cowboy hat on, and Steve in some sort of leather suit. Can´t remember what the other ones were wearing. I do think Shane had some kinda big trousers on, but I ain´t sure. Then they introduced us to the band, and told that it was the bass player Jerry's 30th B-day today, so all stood up singing Happy  Birthday to 'im. Then they sang And I (which is a beautiful song), and then they brought on sofas, and sang This Is Where I Belong, Words, and then Ro sang Melting Pot together with the backing singer, soon joined by the rest of Boyzone. Then they said - Bye and went off. But ofcourse we got em back in, all dressed in white and began to sing No Matter What, god I love that song. And then- they FINALLY sang their new song, which I'd only heard once, and which is gonna be their next single - I LOve The Way You Love Me, I loooooooooooooooove it too, duh. *SMILES* Then they said it was really time to say goodbye, but they had one more song left for us, and which one could ever be better than Picture Of You ? It ended with fireworks, and then the Boyz ran outta stage, and you could see them running out to the bus on the TV screen, and then there came up a message ;   -  SEE YA . . . Oh god, I cannot wait to see them again. (he he they might come here in December, so it ain´t impossible...) Here are also some bits that I did not put in the review, but if you didn´t knew, Ro've grown his hair and had it in a short ponytail. And also a thing that was really cute was during I Love The Way You Love Me, Ro dropped his  Zebra hat, and then my gorgeous Stevo picked it up and handed it over to Ro. He smiled, and put it on Steve's head, and Steve put off a really big and very gorgeous smile, sang one verse more, and then put it on Ronan's head again. Then they hugged eachother and looked extremely gorgeous.
