ABOUT US - Our Heart, Our Vision, Who We Are.
Tri-City Musical Outreach (TCMO) was founded in 1996 by Bill and Cindy Tracy following a vision the Lord had placed in their heart to bring in musical talent and ministry at no expense to the general public to serve as an outreach to the community. The central focus of the vision was and is to unite the Body of Christ together in a sincere effort to serve the lost in this area, that God would command the blessing (Psalms 133:1-3) and move in our midst and change lives for His awesome glory.
The primary manifestation of this vision has come forth through a venue of ministry TCMO has titled the "SonShine Music Festival" which is an event sponsored by local churches, musical artists, individuals and ministries who have committed themselves to this vision and opportunity to share Jesus with the lost in the Tri-Cities area. Musical artists and ministries from all over the country along with TCMO join together in a presenting full on, day-long, outreach event, which transpires locally, at the Fingernail stage in Howard Amon Park, Richland, WA, Tri-Cities. Also involved are intercessory prayer groups (both locally and nationwide), teams and individuals volunteering their time and abilities, working as servants of the Lord who are committed to the success of the outreach event. There is no charge to the public for this event and families are encouraged to come and participate for a day of great music, food, fun and the opportunity to hear the good news that Jesus loves them. The event is backed by a strong prayer covering and there is prayer ministry available on site (all day) at the festival. We have seen many lives touched through this event and all glory is given to Jesus Christ.
Jesus so clearly said in John 4:35, "Do you not say, 'There are still four months and then comes the harvest'? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!" The time for harvest (for lost souls being drawn into relationship with Jesus Christ) isn't coming, or on its way... the time is right now! It's here! Jesus also said in Luke 10:2, "The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest." There is a real need for God's people to pray and then not only pray but get involved with action to be a part of this vision to see people come into relationship with Jesus. It is going to take unity among Christians and churches (of all denominations) in this city, working together, setting aside our differences, our agendas of human tradition and our personal comfort zones, to concern ourselves with love for the lost and obedience to the call of Christ.
We have been given a Great Commission by the Lord to "GO!" because the fields are white for harvest now. We have talked about it, prayed about it, held conferences, classes and conventions about it long enough. Those things are all wonderful, build faith, excitement and motivate and encourage us, but if we do not take the next step towards action we are quite simply wasting time and neglecting the call. The harvest is white! The time is now!!! The vision of TCMO is really the vision of Jesus Christ. It is the passion to see revival come to the Tri-Cities and beyond. To see the Body of Christ working together in unity, loving each other, doing what we have been called by the Lord to do; each one of us using our individual giftings, talents and abilities to accomplish the goal and in turn being examples of God's awesome love to a world that needs Jesus.
In short, this is the vision and heart behind the ministry of TCMO. Our desire is to bless our community and region with the example and demonstration of God's love and power and the message of the Gospel. The requirement for success we have found lies in prayer and unity among believers in Christ and the local churches. It takes all of us pulling together with our giftings, talents, abilities, strength, prayers, finances and love to make this vision become a reality. There is a cost to count and price to pay for success. We must be careful to listen to the voice of God's Spirit and then walk in obedience to the call. God bless you all!!!
Bill & Cindy Tracy
TCMO Founders
Bill & Cindy Tracy - are faithful members of City Church in Kirkland, WA, pastored by Wendell Smith. They have 6 children (which Cindy homeschools) and presently live in Sultan, WA (but are originally from the Tri-Cities area and have a great vision to see God move by His Spirit here). Bill works professionally with computers and is gifted in the area of apologetics and has a desire to teach the Word of God. Cindy affectionately says of Bill, "He has a lot of patience and a great ear. Bill is a faithful friend; the kind everyone should have at least one of..." Aside from homeschooling the kids, Cindy works at a bank (very) part time. They both have a sincere heart to be faithful with the call God has placed on their lives and to encourage the Body of Christ to join together in united purpose to see the Lord bring revival. Cindy has been quoted as saying, "We love God and love to see people get radically saved!" Cindy enjoys promoting Northwest Christian music ministry and also sings, writes and arranges songs herself. She served on the worship team of Columbia Foursquare Church in Richland for 6 years prior to the family's relocation in Sultan. She, along with the support of her husband Bill, has worked coordinating and administrating all aspects of the SonShine Music Festival each year of its production. Bill and Cindy, as an outreach of TCMO, were greatly blessed to be a part of seeing the 3rd annual SonShine Music Festival outreach presented to the community in August of '99. They would like to extend their sincere gratitude to all who donated time, effort, finances and ministry to see the success of this year's event. Lives were changed by the power of God!!! Currently planning is already underway for the next outreach event of TCMO. They would appreciate your prayers and support. To contact them, send e-mail to tcmo@gte.net.
