» CHAPTER FIVE «

Nick pulled Lauren in his arms and did what he’d been wanting to do all night...kiss her. It was sweet, not too passionate like AJ’s. They broke away.

"What was that for?" Lauren grinned.

Nick smiled. "I dunno...I guess it was to apologize for 20 minutes ago," he replied.

"Well then, I’m going to have to make you sorry more often," Lauren joked. They both laughed. "Are you going to be in town long? Or do you have to leave tonight?" she asked him.

"This is our last show of the tour, so we’re going to be here for a while. Normally the tour ends in Florida, but this is a quick summer appearance," he explained.

"Oh, O.K," Lauren nodded.

"So uh...I need to get on the bus now but...I’ll probably see you sometime considering Jessica and AJ...." he trailed off. She nodded, handing him a piece of paper.

"Call me sometime," she whispered, then walked off leaving him wanting her back.

"I will," he thought, then headed the direction to the bus.

Lauren walked away from Nick with a huge smile on her pretty face. She could not believe what a wonderful day she had had. Bumping into Nick, seeing Nick in action, kissing Nick! It was all sinking in how lucky she was.

Suddenly she remembered Jessica. "I wonder what they’re doing right now," she thought.

Lauren shook her head. "It’s none of my business...but I’ll pry the details out of my best bud later. Now I gotta find my Mustang."

AJ finally pulled his lips away from Jessica when he saw the guys and their girls heading to the bus. "Let’s get on the bus and get in the back," he said. So they were in their seats when the other guys and their girlfriends started loading the bus.

"AJ who’s the lovely lady?" they all began asking.

"This is Jessica Tucker...a very special girl to me,"AJ explained. Jessica grinned at the word special. "I asked her back to the hotel to.....uh.....take a swim with us," AJ concluded.

"Oh well nice to meet you Jessica! Have a good time with AJ now," Brian said.

"Yeah, it’s great to meet you," everyone else said. Leighanne and the girls came back to chat with her for a while, then went back to their men.

AJ noticed Nick looked happier than he did, but focused on Jessica. "So.....we’re all alone in the back again," he whispered.

He started kissing her neck gently. "Yep...alone again," Jessica murmured.

AJ could tell he was driving her crazy. He leaned over and kissed her lips again. He just couldn’t get enough of this lovely lady.

Nick closed his eyes and tried to remember the feel of her in his arms, the feel of her soft lips on his. He was crazy about her, and he’d only met her that day. There was so much he wanted to know about her, so much he wanted her to know about him. He wanted to kiss her again, make love to her even.

"Whoa Nick," he realized, "You’re getting way ahead of yourself there." But he still couldn’t help wondering what it would be like.

Jessica rested her head on AJ’s shoulder after he kissed her again. She’d never imagined how happy she could be with the right guy. AJ told her if she thought that was something, to wait until that night. Jessica wanted AJ to take her. She’d never been so sure about anything in her life. No other guy had made her feel that way. Only AJ, she knew now. AJ was the one she wanted.

And AJ was the one she was going to have.

Finally the guys and their bus arrived at the hotel. They went in the back way to avoid the mob of fans that had gathered. The hotel management made the fans get off the premises. AJ and Jessica headed up to AJ’s room to change into swimming clothes. AJ knew he had to get Jessica a swimsuit.

"I’ll call Angie and see what she can do," AJ mentioned. Angie got Jessica a blue bikini that fit perfect. Jessica stared at her reflection in the bathroom mirror. AJ came up behind her, and started kissing her neck again.

"You look beautiful," he murmured. He let the clips out of her hairdo and let her hair cascade down her shoulders. She turned around and kissed him. "Let’s go down to the pool."

Nick searched through his bags to find his swimming trunks. "Brian- have you seen my swimming trunks?" he shouted to Brian in the bathroom.

"Nope, I haven’t seen them Nick!" Brian yelled back. Brian walked out of the bathroom and noticed the down look on Nick’s face. "What’s up man? I know it’s more than shorts," Brian asked.

"Well, I met this really sweet girl today...I wish she were here," he confessed.

"So what’s stopping you man? Call her up," Brian advised.

"You really think I should?" Nick’s eyes lit up.

"Yeah, man. Just call her," Brian said, "Now I’m going down to the pool. I’m glad we got the pool late at night cuz I could use a swim. And good luck with your honey."

Nick watched Brian walk out, then picked up his cell phone and punched some numbers.

Lauren had just laid down on her bed with a book when the phone rang. "Who could that be this time of night?" she wondered aloud. "Hello?" she asked sweetly.

"Is Lauren-can I speak to Lauren please?" a guy asked.

"Um...this is she." Lauren had no clue who it was.

"Hi, this is Nick. Uh, Carter, I mean," Nick stuttered.

Lauren was thrilled. "Hey, Nick! Whatcha want?"

"Well, I’m sorry to call so late, and this is so last minute, but I was wondering if you’d join me and the other guys for a swim in the hotel pool. It’s kinda like a party sort of. Just thought I’d invite you, since everyone else...uh...has a date," Nick said.

"That’s O.K., and I’d love to. Just tell me how to get there."

"Great, um...you know the hotel where...." Nick continued with instructions.

"Great. I’ll be there soon! By the way, Jessica wouldn’t happen to be there would she?" Lauren asked.

"Yep. See you there," Nick said.

"O.K., bye."

"Bye." Nick hung up.

Lauren nearly squealed in delight. "Oh I can’t believe it! He called me! And now I’ve got to find a swimsuit," she realized. She finally picked out a sea-green and blue two-piece, put on a big shirt and short-shorts over it, and headed to her car. "Nick, here I come," she thought.

Jessica trotted out to the pool on AJ’s arm. The guys whistled at her while their girlfriends slapped him. "It was a joke!" they all protested. Jessica didn’t care. She was there with AJ, and that’s all that mattered.

Suddenly AJ jumped in with a big splash, getting water all over Jessica. "Excuse you!" she giggled.

AJ smiled sweetly. "Excuse me." The boys all laughed.

"So are you gonna get in here or what? The water’s great," Howie suggested.

"Well......duuuuuhhhhhhhh!" she said doing a cannonball into the water. Everyone started laughing.

"Nice one, baby," AJ said, kissing her. Everyone awwwed.

Nick was splashing Brian when Lauren walked up to the pool. "Hey everyone," she smiled.

"Lauren! Hey!" Nick jumped out of the pool and hugged her, intending to soak her.

"Hey Nick. Thanks a bunch!" she laughed.

"You’re welcome. Guys, this is Lauren. Lauren, I believe you know AJ..."

"Nice to see you Lauren."

"…and I believe you know Jessica..."

"Hey girl!"

"…and here’s..Brian...."

"Howdy Lauren!"

"And Kevin..."

"Hello Lauren!"

"…and Howie..."

"Howie doin’ sweetheart?"

"…and Leighanne, Claudia, and Amy."

"Hey Lauren!" they said.

"So...." Nick said, "…jump in!" he jumped, making a huge splash. Lauren followed.

"Aww how cute," AJ whispered to Nick.

"Shut your trap man!" Nick whispered back, while splashing Lauren.

"Wait Nick, stop. Let me take these wet clothes off," she said, getting out of the pool momentarily. Nick lost his breath when he saw her blue and green bikini.

"Hey, I love your swimsuit!" he called out.

"Thanks!" she replied jumping in. "I like yours too!" she yelled holding Nick’s swimming trunks. She had gone underwater and stole them!

"Hey! Give those back!" he shouted as he could only move through the pool if he didn’t want to flash everyone.

The guys were practically drowning they were laughing so hard. Lauren was laughing too, while swimming around the pool with his swimming trunks.

All of a sudden Nick caught her around the waist and got them back. "I’ll take those," he murmured.

"Yeah, you take them. I have no use for them anymore," Lauren giggled.

Nick smiled his sexiest grin. She was a prankster who’d do anything for a laugh. He was loving her more every minute.

AJ watched Nick as he flirted with Lauren. "He is really taken with her," he whispered to Jessica.

Jessica nodded. "And her with him. Just like us," she grinned, then licked the water off AJ’s lips.

AJ grabbed her waist and pulled her to him, then whispered, "Have you ever been kissed underwater?" Jessica shook her head no. He slowly lowered them underwater, then kissed her passionately, showing her how to breath off of him.

When they came back up from the water, Jessica commented, "That was a really awesome kiss AJ."

AJ smiled. "And you can have ‘em all," he whispered, gently tilting her head to find his lips. He was determined to keep her in his arms...all night long.

Lauren took a break from flirting with Nick to notice how bad AJ and Jessica were all over each other. "AJ’s gonna give it to her tonight," she thought. "Unlike me. This is virgin territory. For a while, at least."

Suddenly Nick tapped her on the shoulder. "Wanna go to the sauna with me?" he asked sweetly.

"Sure," she replied. So they headed over to the hot bubbly water. Lauren sank into the hot relaxing water, as did Nick.

"So Nick...how does it feel to be a gorgeous talented star?" Lauren asked.

"Pretty great. Actually, it’s my dream come true to be this successful. I-"

"Hang on. You sound like you’re talking to a teenybopper magazine," Lauren interrupted. "This is for me. Not the 12-year-olds who must memorize everything about you."

Nick looked startled for a minute, then smiled. "Yeah, I’ve got that perfect blond boy act down, don’t I?" he continued to grin.

Lauren felt like sinking in the water. "If he keeps smiling," she thought, "I’m probably going to drown."

Nick continued with his thought. "The truth is, sometimes it’s great. Like the best feeling in the world. You perform for so many fans that ‘love’ you, and you can’t believe it’s really happening. But sometimes, you just want your privacy. Not looking out your window and seeing 400 fans waiting for you to come down. You wish they didn’t know such personal things about you, unless you know them. It’s supposed to be about the music, but sometimes, it’s not. You miss your family, friends, people really close to you. You know what I mean?" Nick spilled.

"Actually Nick, I didn’t know, but I do now." Lauren scooted over closer to Nick to rub his shoulders. "I guess it can be tough sometimes. Sometimes you just need a break, like this." Lauren commented, massaging Nick shoulders. Nick nodded.

"Yeah, and thanks-for-the-massage," he whispered.

Nick groaned quietly as Lauren’s soft fingers massaged his neck and shoulders. It was pure heaven for him. He didn’t want it to end.

Suddenly Lauren hit a really sensitive spot, and Nick groaned out loud. "Oops, did I hurt you?" she asked sweetly.

"No, that was just a tender spot for me," he muttered, not telling her the real reason he groaned, which was that spot being touched by her got him aroused. Abruptly, Nick turned around and kissed Lauren. This time, it wasn’t as sweet or short. It was all of Nick’s strength. He hoped Lauren would respond. And she did. She forgot about his shoulders, and kissed him back. They made out for about 5 minutes, before Lauren broke it off.

"O.K. Nick, tell me what that was," Lauren whispered.

"It was me, wanting you," Nick murmured back.

"You barely even know me yet Nick. Give it some time, will you?"

Nick nodded. "I understand," he said, but was thinking, "Not too much time though."

Jessica was lost in AJ’s embrace, and whispered, "Let’s go up to your room and get these wet clothes off. I’m cold."

AJ smiled. "Don’t worry babe, I’ll warm you up," he whispered back, and then said to the guys, "We’re done swimming. See you guys in the morning."

Jessica glanced over at the sauna to see Nick and Lauren making out madly, and thought, "You go girl. But I’m fixing to get it worse than you."

AJ pulled her out of thought and said, "You want to push the elevator buttons?" he laughed.

She giggled. "Sure."

Soon they were up at his room. AJ closed the door and locked it behind him. Jessica murmured, "Let me go to the bathroom and change, k AJ?" he nodded.

About 3 seconds later, she came out wearing nothing but a smile. AJ was about to start drooling right there and felt his lower-half aroused. He slipped off his trunks and jumped under the covers of the bed. "Get in, my fair lady," he murmured sexily.

Jessica smiled and slipped under the covers. She started feeling of AJ’s body, every single part. She wanted it. Jessica started kissing him everywhere, which was driving him wild.

"No, no, baby. Is this your first time?" Jessica nodded her head, still kissing him. "Then this night is all about you," he murmured, rolling on top of her. "Are you ready?" he asked.

"I’ve never been more ready," Jessica replied.

Half an hour later, AJ was holding Jessica in his arms. "I want to be yours forever," Jessica breathed.

"Likewise baby," AJ whispered.

Jessica felt like she was in heaven. Every move AJ had made on her she had felt like moaning his name. She wanted to be in his arms forever. Jessica yawned and snuggled close to AJ, then fell asleep in his arms.
