In return for following the rules I have a few promises I'll never break unless it's a really bad situation which I will note next to the rules that it will apply. But in certain cases I'll will ignore the exceptions I put up. It all depends on situations.

1. I'm always here to talk, even if I am sleeping. If it is important then wake me up. I won't be mad. Now I'm not saying wake me up to tell me about the ice cream in the freezer without cookie dough but like things that you are thinking about and need to get off your chest.

2. I won't call your parents or guardian and tell them you are here. The deal with this is you can't be a run away under the age 18. If you are then you have one day to get out of here. If I don't know you and you crash here obviously strung out on drugs then I will call your parents after I haul you off to detox. If I know you and this has been a continuous problem I'll call your friends.

3. I won't tell anyone you were here other than your friends if they ask and you didn't tell me not to tell them.

4. I believe in confidentiality. What is said in this place stays in this place and between the people that talked about it.

5. Sometimes when I go shopping I'll bring you with me.

6. I'll try not to wake you up in the morning when I wake up, unless I'm seeking vengance.

7. If you need a ride somewhere I'll probably give it to you if you ask. Unless I'm in a hurry or about to do something like go to work.

8. If you're really drunk and I think that there's a risk that you might puke in the middle of the night and drown I'll stay up and watch you to make sure nothing happens.

9. I won't take pictures of anyone passed out on my couch or floor unless it's insanly cute, strange or I'm just plain old feeling mean and seeking vengance. If I do take pictures no one will see them other than you me and a select group of friends.
