Our Lady Peace’s Canadian fans had to wait for the band to tour through the U.S. and Europe before the band decided to head back home for a cross-Canada tour. Now OLP will reward their loyal fans with not only a tour, but the promise of a live album and DVD.

As previously reported, OLP will be doing an eight-date Canadian tour in late January/early February. Dubbed the "Fear Of The Trailer Park" tour, Raine and co. will be hitting the road with Finger Eleven, Seether and the Trailer Park Boys. Fans attending the Edmonton and Calgary shows should be sure to wear their best outfits and practice singing along to "Somewhere Out There" — those are the two shows that will be taped for the live releases.

"Over the last year Our Lady Peace has turned into the rock ‘n’ roll band it has always been trying to be," OLP singer Raine Maida says. "The DVD we are about to film will give our fans the opportunity to be a part of; what we consider to be the most important tour of our lives."

OLP are hotter than ever these days — not only did Gravity come out on top in Chart’s 2002 Year End Readers Poll, but its been selling like hotcakes at home and abroad. Since its release in June 2002, the album has reached double platinum in Canada and gold in the U.S. The band will do their best to conquer Europe after the Trailer Park tour is over — they’ll be hitting the continent and the U.K. with Avril Lavigne in March. The live CD is expected to be released this spring with the DVD to follow.
