Hey there! This is where each of us adds our own little ditty on the concert!

First, I'd like to name my review, if that's alright...

HAPPINESS IS FOR CROWS

Well, even though I feel that OLP doesn't visit the 'armpit' of the country (namely, here--this is what I've come to call Edmonton recently) nearly as much as they should, the concert they put on once in a blue moon is never something anyone should miss! This concert was no exception! I was a bit doubtful of how the floor would be, since I didn't think the arrangements they had made would actually work...(I can't help it I'm a skeptic at heart!) I mean, 500 people on the floor doesn't sound like much, but they moved the stage 3/4 the way across Skyreach! Thankfully, my skepticism was proved wrong. This was the first concert I've been to that I didn't get crushed in the first row.
In fact, I only had ONE crowd-surfer go over me. Whoooooaaaaa....
We had been talking to one of the security guards before the concert...we told him about how 'Raine' hadn't showed to the soundcheck, and by his reasoning: "He must've been in the back f*cking Chantal." BOO HAA AA HAAA!!! But Mr. security guard sang along to every song...even the ones off Naveed....
So, the concert...Stereophonics...my mother taught me that if you haven't anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.
They were Oasis
After they finally left the stage, the kick-a%s roadies came out to set up...the concert was just COOL to say it in few words...Mike really really gets into the music...more so than the other fellows, with exception to Jeremy, what's he going to do? 'Raine' spent the whole time standing still or hanging on to the mic stand like it was a life preserver. Duncan shook his bon bon, but he was all the way------------->across the stage, so we didn't see much of him...I did (I must admit-happily) see his shirt riding strap-happy, but now I'm sounding like a teeny.
No doubt, the highlight of the concert was Naveed...and Mike's antics. He interacted with the crowd 5 times more than the others, and he was quite the host. One time, I tried to tell him something (which none of you will understand unless you've heard the background info.) and he just gave me a huge smile and an "a-ok"...he figured what I was telling him later, and fixed it...:)
