(comments) Every time I make a cup of coffee, it's always too hot. So I let it
sit on the counter and I go into the living room and watch a little tv. I get
sucked into the tube and completely forget the coffee I left in the other room.
When I finally remember, it's stone cold. But that's okay, because that's
actually how I got introduced to coffee. When I was about 8 or 9 years old, my
parents used to drink half their coffee and get up from the table and leave it
there. I would stumble into the room, find it sitting there and drink it. My
parents thought it was hilarious. Occasionally, I'll forget about my cup in the
kitchen and my roommate will find it first and chastise me for it. There once
was a time where she made a cup of tea and left it on the counter. She came
giggling into the room I was in, exclaiming that she "pulled a Kelly" with her
tea, and threw it out.
