Before i saw EOS i thaught it was a myth that someone could fall completely in love with a band. thankfully because of you guys i was proven wrong. for the past year+ EOS have been my fave band ,i bought the demo and when i heard you were making a cd i an usely waited and bought it the first night, i was happy when you went on tour because that meant people from all over could have a taste of what we nova scotians are lucky to have. Great shows like Fugazi, the hotbox, braid and many more just made me real ze how lucky we were. last night was a wonderful end to a great(but short lived) carreer. I just want to say that you guys have inspired me so much i don't know how i can ever thank you. To me Equation of State was more than just a band, you guys were the soundtrack to my life , you destroy the senses (in a good way) when you play, the emotion of your music travels through everyone who will give it a chance and last night you made everyone in the room feel like they were part of the band. Actualy, i can't peek for everybody but to me the show last night was the complete embodyment of hardcore/punk/emo/rock n' roll. you will be sorely missed and a large gap will be left, along with many great menories and an extrordinary demo & CD. the music will live and w will not forget. thank you. Yes, here's what you've all been waiting for: an update on the distribution of the Equation of State CD! WOW! The CD is slowly starting to get some interest from some distros! It is now carried by Ebullition (and actually shows up in their catalog at www.ebullition.com). Bottlenekk and Vacuum will also e carrying it shortly, and I just got a letter today from Very Mailorder (NYC) wanting some copies. I've also traded 10 copies to Liberation Records in Sao Paulo, Brazil for 10 copies of a 4-band CD compilation from there which I've received today! I have 't had time to listen to it yet, but from the liner notes I gather all 4 bands play hardcore, with at least 2 of them being of the vegan/sXe variety. So yeah.
