nothing to hide
Ive nothing to hide
Except for the flies
Caught in the web at the back of my skull
Nothing to hide
Except for the shadows
Lurking in the dark alleys down below
Nothing thats not locked away
In the cabinet down the hall
Nothing to hide
Nothing thats not at the top of a closet shelf
In a taped shoebox
No
Nothing to hide
Nothings thats not lurking under my bed
Nothing
Thats thats not ready to eat me up
Eventually
Starting with my feet
At the end of the bed
With its sharp green teeth
Nibbling toe by toe
As my warm blood runs down
Its chin
And stains the new peach carpet
Nothing to hide.
