Secrets, desires, darkness,
kept within my soul.
These are portrayed through my words.
Poems , Verse, Novels/Stories, Vignettes,
... my writings are my serenity.
My voice is my art.
I write for myself,
not for society,
or literature's rules.
The opinion of the outside world
may critique my work, may influence it,
but I would never change for it.
I have constructed a tower of strength around my soul,
with my words. I will survive.
Though it is still scarred inside,
it's protected now.
But I'll let my hair down sometimes...
