Jack began his career in drag racing during the 1970's . By 1992, he switched to dirt track competition, driving go-karts at Snydersville Speedway. In 1996 he joined the MAScar Mini-Cup Series at Mahoning Valley Speedway and went on to become the points champion in 1997. Jack is a former Snydersville Rookie of the Year with Karting wins both there and in New Egypt (NJ)
