In 2040 robots thrive and exist to do man's
physically demanding labor and menial jobs. All robots
are derived from and original A.I. Everything seems calm
and safe but one by one, the boomers (robots) are going
haywire all over the city can cause damage and havoc. But
a skilled group of women protect the city from the rogue
boomers. They come packing hard suits which help them bust
down the boomers. These marvels of technology put the
latest technology to the test with nearly indestructible
armour, jet boosters, speed beyond imagination, and the power
to ripe apart any piece of metal. Not are only the suits
serious pieces of equipment but also they are armed to the
teeth. They come with exploding knuckle bombs, high powered
rifles, swords of incomparable sharpness, and laser wires
that can cut almost anything. With all these tools can Tokyo
be saved?
You will have a seriously good time watching
anime. Better than your usual all girl super animes, it
breaks new grounds in genre and kicking serious boomer
ass. This revamped version of the original takes the old
series to new heights. Beautiful animation and drawings
bring this action anime to life. Since it is an action
anime, it has to deliver great explosions, moves, and
whatever else the creators can come up with, and they
sure do that. Each battle is nothing but flawless,
Big explosions, serious techniques and ass kicking
galore. I've seen many action animes but this is one
of the best out there I think. I never did get into
the original series but the revamped version caught me
right away. The dub isn't that bad actually but I do
have one problem with it. Since Priss is in a band she
obviously has to sing, the English voice actress can't
do it for crap. Other than that the dub is actually
pretty good. Oh yea, the intro song is pretty good
also.
