Being a private detective is pretty rough, always
given odds jobs, which are most likely to involve gunshots
and the occasional explosion. This is the life of Rally and
May. They are in it for the money and the most likely will get
the job done (one way or another). The local police has
been having a problem dealing with organized crime
lately and so they recruit the Gunsmith Cats for the
"odd" jobs. But know one really knows how deep the
corruption goes. Will the police and Gunsmith Cats
solve the case and stay alive while they're at it?
Brought straight to you from the famous manga
Gunsmith Cats comes back to you animated and with just as
much action and laughs. Spanning only 3 OVAs, I was curious
in how they could fit a whole story in such a small time
frame. Boy was I proved wrong. The directors did it and
damn well if I say so myself. Everything moves at a
good pace so the viewer can keep up but not stuck
with crap scenes. With that aside, the action in
the show is pretty good. Shots are believable and
reactions are just the same. Since it is GSC
comedy just has to be part of it, and sure enough
the directors bring home the bacon once again. The
duo's antics are fresh and hilarious, especially
when May blows every single thing to bits with her
array of bombs, grenades, and explosives. Overall
this 3 part OVA is worth your time and money.
