It is the final frontier, space. Humans have
traversed the universe and have met many along the way. Wars have
been waged and lives have been lost. Peace has been reclaimed
and war is only a memory. Even though war is the last thing on
the minds of the universe the UN Spacey still need fighter pilots
and more importantly, better fighters. Here we find too old rivals
fighting not only for themselves but for the love of a woman. What
awaits the three and who will be left standing in the end?
This is truly the final frontier of the Macross
series. It takes place after all the wars and all is calm. Personally
I thought it was pretty good. Since it's Macross there has to
be music. The music score for this series is actually the best out of
all the series I have seen. If you are a Macross fan I
suggest you go out and watch this anime. I don't think that the
series will progress any further into the future, so I guess it's
a must see. But this isn't the final Macross series...
