Long ago when samurais roamed the land and roaming swordsmen
were common place, spirits of nature roamed the land. These spirits
were wolves, boars, deer, and other such creatures. Then one
unfortunate day, Ashikta is cursed by one of these spirits and
needs to be cured before the curse eats his soul to nothing.
This leads him to a land where man is at constant war with
himself and nature. As suddenly as Ashikta is thrown into the
middle of the conflict he is enchanted by a young woman of
nature. How will Ashikta save himself and those around him?
Here is another great hit directed by the great Hayao
Miyazaki (Spirited Away). It is what we have all come to expect
from Miyazaki-san, beautifully coloured and amazing artistry.
Without a doubt, this is a must see if you love Spirited Away.
This movie is filled with the supernatural and many other Japanese
myths. Pretty good movie over all, not much else I can really
say about it.
