The world is in great peril. The I-jin want the books
that hold the secret to destroying humanity. The I-jin wield super
powers of mass destruction (like X-men). And the person the stop
them is...a girl with her nose in a book? But she is no ordinary
girl; she is "The Paper." Able to make paper into almost anything she
sees fit, she is a fearsome rival. She a klutz, absent minded, and
most of all, busy leaving her head in books, what a heroine...*sigh*
This was an interesting anime to watch. Sure it seemed
almost like an X-men series, well a lot like an X-men series. Even
still so the creators pulled off an original series with a good story
behind it. Spanning only 3 episodes long, it kind of left room for
better story and character development. Although, the powers each
character exhibited were very unique and fresh, especially "The Paper."
Sure being able to make paper anything you want sounds kind of dumb,
but trust me after watching this series, you will want to have paper
powers. The ending is still something to be desired on a down point.
If you read the manga then there is no problem with you understanding
the story. There is also the TV series, but I have yet to watch that.
