Tohno Shiki, is not your average high school student.
His family is rich; he hangs out with a vampire, not to mention
he can see the "lines" which hold every being's life. As soon
as he thinks his life can be as normal at it can get, he kills
a woman. Being scared by his subconscious attack he is tormented
by the images that flash infront of him, yet there is more to
this woman than meets the eye. She is a vampire, and soon
enough meets Shiki face to face...again. Soon one thing leads to
another and the two face demons of the night and ghouls of
the underworld. More and more things await them as they
fight the darkness in the city, more importantly other
vampires...
Dark, mysterious, a little lovey dovey, and
mix in a little bit of confusion and you got Tsukihime.
It was a pretty good series, but I don't think this will
appeal to everyone, due to its thick plot and some parts
you have to piece together a little because they are a little
fuzzy. I personally liked it (since I did play the fighting
game of it). Based off the manga, it truly is a parallel
adaptation of it. I give serious props to the one and
only guy who did the manga, makes me feel kinda sucky
since he made the whole manga himself. Anyways, feel
free to watch this one. I'm not too sure that you
will like it or not but it is a step away from your
regular types of anime.
