It is the distant future and man has conquered space, only problem is
that men and women are mortal enemies (I'm curious to how this
would ever happen). Men and women are constantly fighting each
other and has many, many stories bout each other. On one such
battle the women and 3 (lucky) men get stuck on a drifting ship.
Due to their position, there have no other choice but to work
together. Unknowing to the newly formed crew their paths will take
them to the brink of destruction and the rejoining of men and
women as we speak. But first they must fight off an unsuspected
enemy, Earth.
This work by Gonzo is nothing short of greatness. Beautiful
women versus dumb/heroic men, what else is there to it? The
animation is just beautiful both anime and 3d space battles. Both
seasons (1st stage and 2nd stage), were very delightful to watch,
yet the 2nd stage was better due to the SUPER Vandread.
