Noir

Noir

Two females destined to become the walkers of the night, the assassins
within the shadows, the two maidens of the black hand. One has a
troublesome past lined with the death of her family and a revenge to
exact. The other has none, memories have faded into the shadows of her
mind, hidden from view. Yet she is can kill anyone she lays eyes upon.
With guns and skills on hand, the two forge their way through trials
and tough situations placed before them. Will both women unravel
their pasts and survive the organization that seeks them out?

Noir was a pretty good anime. Although there is no blood anywhere,
even when you do see the guy/girl get shot, the action is very
convincing. Each assassination is planned out thoroughly making each
kill seem plausible and heart gripping. The story overall is well laid
out and the overall theme of darkness and mystery is well kept. Without
a doubt, Noir is one of the best animes I've seen only being
topped by a select few at the pinnacle of the anime mountain. The
only thing I really started to hate was at the beginning of every episode
there is a monologue that fully details what Noir is. Until you
really understand this you will hate the beginning, after that you will
actually appreciate the monologue.
