鉄橋
子供の頃、鉄橋を渡った。

小さかったぼくは途中で動けなくなった。

遠くで汽笛が聞こえてきて、

こわくて足がすくんだのだ。

いっしょにいた大きな子に背負われて間一髪、

向こう側へ渡りきった。

背中越しに見た、

その時の川のきらめきを覚えている。

RAILWAY BRIDGE
In my childhood,

I walked over the railway bridge in my hometown

with my cousin and his friend.

After a while I could't move at all.

Because of hearing the whistle of the train

I felt feafull.

My cousin's friend is big and carry me to the other side of the bridge.

We had a very narrow excape.

I remember the glittering of that river under the railway bridge.
