So tender, so loving, so beautiful
Is the heart of a mother.
So pure and thoughtful and kind
Oh mother, how can I ever repay you
For all the wonderful things you've done.

When I moved within your womb
I felt your warmth
When I fixed upon your breast
I felt your love
When I slept within your arms
I felt secure
So when I think of Mother's Day
I think of you.

So with every breath of mine
I breathe this wish of love
That Mother's Day be filled with cheer
