Anybody
who has heard the Tea Party can tell you that their fusion of
east and west is done perfectly. The Tea Party have been one
of Canada's rapidly rising stars. Their first hit was off the
album Splendor Solice, in the form of The River. Soon after
the band received a huge fan following that continues to grow.
The Tea
Party's latest release is called Tangents, and it showcases
all of the bands hits from previous hits. The release also contains
four previously released tracks. These include Walking Wounded,
Waiting on a Sign, Life Line, and Paint it Black. The last three
being popular songs that the band preforms on their live set.
I can't
describe how much I enjoy listening to this album. Every song
stands strong on its own and there isn't a single bad track
on this recording.
As a side
note, the Tea Party's Illuminations DVD is a great compliment
to this album, as the DVD contains all of the Tea Party's videos
up until Walking Wounded. It also contains commentary by the
band on every video, subtitles with all the lyrics, and a behind
the scenes segment for walking wounded.
