Sohryu Asuka Langley

Sohryu Asuka Langley:

Well this is an Area by Sohryu asuka Lanley.A very ood fighter who was my first sparring opponent. My first fight was with this guy and he has tought me fighting ever since.I wouldnt be fighting if it wasnt for him.I enjoy his fighting style as he is unpredictable in everyway.I have never fought the same SAL twice. And unfortunately his handle has changed to "Sharkyland"
I sort of miss him but his fighting style will be the same as Sharky..(With a few twists as i have seen^_^)
So enjoy..i hope you learn something...
I'm Sharkyland (SAL)... I was used to be known as the fighter in the Jurai Arena at the AnimEigo chatroom Sohryu Asuka Langley, but I changed my name to a unique one. I am a magic, special attack, regular attack, and summoner user. My favorite type of weapon to use is the "Heaven's Feather" which is a cross between a halbird and a lance. The weapon can teleport to me when summoned and is indestructable. (I made this weapon up, and it's from one of my fanfics that I wrote, but it isn't ready yet to be read).

When fighting in the Jurai Arena, you must have a vivid imagination, and you have to make sure it is understandable. Here are some helpful tips:

#1 - You should know how to attack
----------------------------------
Well, to me there are four wrongs ways of attacking: A) "I punch you in the stomach." [HINT! Remember, the opponent can do anything to that punch since the description was terrible.]
B) "With the speed of 2.1 * 10^9 miles per hour, my punch covered in a dazzling light (the light the is emitted when you light a magnesium strip on fire) speeds up at an angel of 15i, 72j, -52k angle toward your galdiolus shattering into a googol pieces and flattening all the vital parts in the abdominal cavity with a force similar to the 1st shockwave released when a hydrogen bomb has been dropped."
C) "I take out my gun and shoot you. Your dead."

The right way: a) "My punch surrounded by a blinding light not affecting the user heads quickly toward for your chest while it shatters and smashes anything that gets in your way."

#2 - Learn how to defend
------------------------
To defend you must convince the opponent that you can block his/her attack without getting seriously injuried. There are many ways to defend an attack, and there's no specific one.

#3 - Learn how to counter
-------------------------
A counter is a defense/attack. You use an attack against the opponet's attack to defend . [HINT! If you can, try using the opponent's attack against him.]

#4 - Learn how to counter or defend for your own attacks
--------------------------------------------------------
Not usually expected, but there can be a way that the opponent can send your attack back at you, so you better be ready to counter or defend from it. [HINT! I know that this may sound silly, but you can fight yourself and see how good you can counter your own attacks.] If you can escape from you attacks easily, then you need to work on your attacks.

#5 - Make sure you understand the attack
----------------------------------------
Make sure you read the opponent's attack carefully because if you miss something then it will be counted as a hit which is not considered good. [HINT! It's good to read the opponents attack twice but don't take your time, there could be a time limit]

#6 - There is more than one way of countering an attack
-------------------------------------------------------
There are more ways of countering or defending from an attack. Let's take the element fire for example:
A) Destroy by ice, water element
B) Very cold winds
C) Killing the oxygen supply for the fire
D) Smashing it with a big flat object
E) Trapping it
F) Spread the heat
etc. etc. etc.

#7 - Know your opponent
-----------------------
Well, this is very crucial if your opponent is some kind of elemental. Like if you are fighting a dark person then you attack with light not dark.

#8 - Other ways of showing your attack
--------------------------------------
Well, in the beginning you have to ask if the opponent can see .mov, .avi, or images. If the opponent says 'no' then don't use them. The opponent will have no idea what you did just do against him; therefore, he will counter it wrong, but that's your partly your fault not the opponents.

#9 - Battle everyone not only the masters
-----------------------------------------
Well, the masters are a good source of information when you are fighting them, but remember that your skill will be dependent on the attacks of the opponent. You might get used to the masters and simply figure out what to do, but if you fight everyone then you have a wide range of skill to attack or defend from.

#10 - Seek advice
-----------------
There are some people who are great in advice and some are not so great. School material, chat friends, masters, internet, and video games are good sources to use if you have a weak imagination.

#11 - When you get injuried
----------------------------
Probably not a good thing to have, but if the opponent injuries you, be prepared for backup and always rely on other things rather than something you work on (for example, if you are a magic user and your magic gets cut off, then be prepared with something else like a weapon for example).

#12 - Weapon
------------
You really don't have to have a weapon, but for backup purposes I RECCOMEND that you should get one. Make sure the weapon is unique and add some capabilities to it, so the opponent will have to face another danger.

#13 - Special Attacks
---------------------
If you invented a special attack that is difficult, write it down, and save it for later. It's good to have a notepad of attacks by your side. Just copy and paste and refine the attack a bit and use it against your opponent.

#14 - Have fun
--------------
Well, in the battle you should have fun. You shouldn't be in a mood in where you just want to kill the person, but in a competitive mood and trying to make your skills more harder than before.
