Authors’ note: Read the first six fanfics if you haven’t already. This is the seventh fanfic in our series, The Anibots. If you read this fanfic before the others, you will get lost. We didn’t want to kill Dr. Wily off (ZeoSaturn didn’t want killing of people) so if people are mad at our ending, well TOO BAD!! After this fanfic, we are going to be having a series that is a transition into the Mega Man X series (yes, X and Zero people :D.) There is a new bad guy appearing as well (we made him up and we are proud of him! ;D). Ok, ZeoSaturn has typed too much and DonsArtNGames is telling her to stop. *^-^

Changing of the Guard

Jason knew that he couldn’t be any happier. It was now the first week of December and finals were coming up and they were all preparing for them. Jason didn’t need Tommy’s help anymore in his Mechanics class and the teacher was training the both of them for the Grad Prix race that were going to take place in March at the school. Everyone was having no worries about their grades because they were helping out each other.

On the Anibot front, the press was finally convinced that Proto Man was on the Anibots’ side thanks to Justin. They had a few battles and what not from Dr. Wily, but they were wondering why he wasn’t putting up much of a fight. Jason and Tommy figured that he was preparing for a huge battle. So, the Anibots trained as best they could for that attack if it ever came. Many of the attacks that they had to deal with were pretty strange ones. At one time, the Anibots had to deal with toys that came to life. This was a distraction so that Dr. Wily could steal a huge diamond which he did not get away with. Another time, they found themselves dealing with a huge robot spider that was stealing electricity from the city. That plan was foiled also and scared Zack half to death. Dr. Wily was only able a few times to succeed in stealing what he was after.

It was the Wednesday night before finals. All of the Anibots were studying in their dining room when Rocky yelled, "Ahhhh! I can’t get this. TOO HARD!"

"What’s wrong, Rocky?" Kimberly said with a sigh.

"It’s this math problem. I can’t get it." Billy leaned over and looked at the problem.

"Here, Rocky. Try this," Billy said and he pointed at certain places for Rocky to understand what to do in the problem.

"Oh," Rocky said. "Thanks, Billy. Now I know what to do tomorrow."

"No problem," Billy said with a smile.

"Guys," Katherine said. "Isn’t it weird that Dr. Wily hasn’t attacked L.A. in a while? I mean, he hasn’t said boo in about two weeks."

"All I know is that he might be planning a huge attack," Jason said.

"And that I will get my brother back," Tommy said in a determined voice.

"You said that the last time, Tommy," Tanya said as she put her book down that she was reading.

"David wasn’t at the battle the last time and he usually stays in the cockpit of the Skullcer now," Trini said as she too stopped studying. "It isn’t Tommy’s fault that he can’t get into the Skullcer."

"We know," Justin said in a joking matter. "He changed the password." Everyone laughed.

"Come on guys," Jason said. "Let’s continue studying. Finals start tomorrow." With that, they continued to study and all went to bed early. They all went through the week with their finals and on the last day, they were waiting outside for Adam to get out of his Critical Thinking final.

"When is the final done?" Rocky said looking at his watch on the transformation bracelet impatiently. "I want to go celebrate."

"Me too," Aisha said. "Mall time!"

"What?!" Zack said. "The mall? I though we were going to see a movie."

"We are," Kimberly said. "The mall we are going to has a movie theater in it."

"Oh."

"Guys, quit your gripping," Jason said. "He will be out in a minute or two. The teacher is making all of them stay until the end of the hour."

"That’s kind of stupid," Justin said.

"Sorry, guys," Adam said as he came out of the classroom. "Let’s go."

All of the Anibots got into two vans and began to drive toward the other side of L.A. on the freeway. Jason drove one van and Tommy drove the other. Justin, Billy, Aisha, Katherine, and Zack were in the van with Jason and Tanya, Trini, Kimberly, Rocky, and Adam were in with Tommy.

"No more pencils, no more books, no more teacher’s dirty homework," Justin said.

"Wait, Justin," Aisha said when she then realized that the quote wasn’t right. "I though it was ‘no more teacher’s dirty looks.’"

"I know, but I like it this way better."

They got to the mall and they all went to different movies. Some were in the mood for romance and some were for the action movies. Tommy, Katherine and Jason weren’t in to mood for a movie. So, they looked around the mall.

"Hey, bro! Look!" Jason said. "Martial arts weapons store."

"Cool!" Tommy said and looked back at Katherine. "Kat, you don’t mind if we go in do you."

"I don’t mind. Go," Katherine said and the three went into the store. Along the walls were swords and staffs of every shape, size and color. Katherine was looking at the shields that they had on the back wall. "Hey, guys! This one looks like the Pink Zeo Ranger’s."

"Ha! Look at that!" Jason said amused that someone made a replica of the Zeo Shield.

Tommy walked by the counter to get a closer look. "Cool!" he said. As they were about to leave, something caught Tommy’s eye. Tommy went pale. "How?!"

"What?" Jason said confused at Tommy’s look on his face. Jason turned to where Tommy was looking and went wide eyed in shock. "No way!"

"Guys?" Katherine said as she turned to where they were looking. "What?"

"That sword!" Jason said as he pointed to a sword on the wall. "The Sword of Darkness."

"Guys," Tommy said as he then laughed. "It is probably just a replica also. Let’s go."

As he was walking out, he looked at the blades case and saw a bunch of neat looking knifes, but one caught him in particular. "Hey, can I look at this one?" Tommy was pointing to a dagger that had a red dot in the middle of the guard and a white leather handle trimmed in green.

"Sure," the clerk said and took it out of the case for Tommy to look at.

"That’s a neat dagger, Tommy," Jason said as Tommy held it and began to turn it to look at it better. "You getting it?"

"Yeah," Tommy said. "How much is it?"

"Fifty dollars," the clerk said.

"Woh, that’s a little expensive," Katherine said.

"Actually a little cheap for a blade that good," Jason said.

"I’ll take it," Tommy said and handed him the money for it.

"Keep it in your bag," the clerk said. "Security keeps a close eye on people that are buying stuff from here."
"I am going to go put it in the car," Tommy said and the three went to the van and put it in there.

They went back inside and did more window shopping until the other Anibots came out of the theaters. They made their way back to the vans and started the trip home. Trini spotted the bag.

"Hey, Tommy. What’s this?" Trini said as she opened the bag.

"I saw that in the mall and bought it," Tommy said. "What do you think?"

"I like it," Adam said as he looked into the bag and saw it. Just then, an explosion appeared downtown. "Woah!"

"Bro," Jason said into his transformation bracelet. "Get off at the next exit!"

"Right," Tommy said as it came his voice came in through Jason’s bracelet. The two vans got off at the next stop and they pulled in behind a gas station where no one could see them.

"We have to transform and get downtown quick!" Jason said as all of got out of the vans.

"Mega Man!" Dr. Light said talking to Jason through the bracelet. "I am sending Rush and the transport."

"We don’t need the transport," Jason said back. "We are about five blocks away."

"Ok, but Rush is bring a few other friends along with him."

"Ok," Jason said. "Guys, transform!" All of the Anibots typed in their passwords and their suits materialized. "Let’s go!" Just then, another explosion happened and debris was flying everywhere. Some of the flying debris was on fire and one of the huge pieces hit a school that was across the street. An alarm sounded five seconds later. "Oh no!"

"We can’t leave those children!" Aisha said. "They are in danger too."

"Right," Jason said. "I want Stingray, Owl, Spider, Mouse, Cat, and Horse to go help the school. Proto and the others, come with me." Just then, Rush landed with a huge bulky robot on his back along with a green cat and a red robot that appeared to be made from a trash can. A flying blue bird robot was flying right behind them. Rush’s helmet opened up and a hologram of Dr. Light appeared.

"Cool!" Justin said.

"Mega Man!" Dr. Light’s projection said. "These are your new allies. They will help you. The flying bird is Beat. He will help the flyers if they need it. The big robot is Auto. He will fix any that is wrong with your suits."

"At your service," Auto said as he bowed.

"The red robot is Eddie," Dr. Light continued. "He can give you energy if you need it. He also can shoot out bombs to protect himself. And last but not least, the green cat is Tango. He is yours, Proto." Tango jumped up onto Tommy’s shoulder. "He can change into any tool that you want, but he cannot change into any vehicle I’m afraid."

"Ok, Rush. Everyone, let’s go!" Jason said and he and Tommy jumped up onto Rush. Kimberly, Aisha and Adam grabbed a hold of Tanya and they all made their way to where Dr. Wily was. The others ran toward the school.

When Jason and his group got there, Dr. Wily out his Skullker and was blasting into City Hall. All of the other explosions were coming from David and lots of other robots trying to scare off everyone.

"Great! Your brother’s causing trouble," Jason said to Tommy.

"Bro, I know you can handle him," Tommy said. "Let me go in and stop Wily."

"I am going with you," Tanya said.

"Ok, I am dropping you off at the door and Phoenix, Hawk, Bumble Bee and I can take care of the other robots and Bass." Jason, Adam, Aisha and Kimberly let Tanya and Tommy off at the front door of City Hall and flew back to where David was. Tanya and Tommy ran inside.

"Well, well, well!" David said pompously. "If it isn’t Mega Twit, Firefly, Hornet and Chicken Little! Where are the rest of your idiots?"

"Saving children in a school that one of your explosions destroyed," Jason said. "We won’t let you hurt innocent people let alone children. We are the Anibots and you’re toast! Hawk, Bumble Bee, Phoenix, take care of the robots! I’ll take care of Proto’s brother!"

"Right!" the three said and flew at the other robots along with Beat.

"Well, this looks like another showdown, right Mega Man?" David said.

Meanwhile, Tommy and Tanya were running down the corridors to the mayor’s office. To their surprise, they didn’t see anyone in the building.

"Where is everyone?" Tanya said confused.

"I don’t know, but we have to get to the mayor quick, Fox," Tommy said as he ran fast with Tango right behind him. They came to the door to the mayor’s office and they kicked it in. There, they found Dr. Wily in the mayor’s chair.

"Where is the mayor, Dr. Wily?" Tanya yelled.

"Ha ha! You are too late, Fox and Proto," Dr. Wily said as he got up from the chair. "I have taken full control of City Hall."

"I won’t let you, Doc!" Tommy said. "We are not going to allow you to rule the good citizens of this town! I am Proto Man and you are dead meat!" Just then Tanya saw a disturbing thing on the mayor’s desk which was in a glass jar.

"Take this!" Dr. Wily said as he picked up a strange looking gun and fired at Tanya and Tommy.

At that moment, Justin came running out of the school with a little five year-old girl in his arms.

"I got her," Justin said.

"Thank you very much," the principal of the school said as she grabbed the girl from Justin’s arms. "Everyone else is accounted for."

"Take your students and teachers and get as far away from the school as possible," Katherine said. "Dr. Wily is attacking and is putting the people in this area in danger. Evacuate now!"

"Right!" the principle said as she ran to the rest of the student body and instructed the students and teachers to leave. At that moment, Zack and Rocky came out of the school.

"Mouse! Cat! The fire is contained," Zack said as reached both Katherine and Justin.

"Ok, where is Spider?" Rocky said looking around.

"Here," Trini said as she came out of the school. Auto and Eddie were right behind her. "Checking to see if there was anymore fire. These two robots are great helpers. They helped me when part of the ceiling collapsed on me."

"It was no problem, Miss Spider," Auto said.

"Right, let’s go find Mega Man and the others," Zack said as they turned and ran to where the main problem was.

"Celestial Fire!" Kimberly said as she unleashed a massive amount of fire onto the robots below her.

"Acid Stinger!" Aisha said as her stinger came out and hit a few robots melting them.

"Wind Tunnel!" Adam said as he blew the robots that were on the other side away and into pieces. He talked into his buster. "Almost done with cleanup here, Mega. How is it going there?"

Jason dodged a kick that David had tried to connect with Jason’s head. Jason charged up his buster and sent a shot at David. David had dodged that as well.

"Having a little trouble with Bass here, but fine," Jason said into his buster. He looked to where Rush and Treble were fighting. The two dogs were snarling at each other and biting viciously. "Stingray, what’s happening at the school?"

"We are on our way," Zack said. "We are about a block away."

"Shoot!" David said. He knew that he would be outnumbered when they would get there. "Doc!" He ran into City Hall.

"Guys, Bass just ran into City Hall," Jason said. "I’m going after him." Just then, Tango came running out of the door that David had just gone through. "Tango, where is Proto Man and Fox?" Tango meowed and looked back at City Hall, but with a sad look on its face. Jason knew that something had happened.

"Mega Man! We are coming with you," Adam said as the rest of the Anibots came to Jason.

"Ok, let’s go," Jason said and they too ran into City Hall along with Beat, Tango, Rush, Auto, and Eddie. The place look deserted and totally messed up. Justin looked around and saw something that startled him.

"Wait, guys!" Justin yelled. The Anibots didn’t hear him. They continued running without Justin until they got to the mayor’s office. There, they saw Dr. Wily sitting in the mayor’s chair and next to him was David with something in his hand.

"Welcome, Mega Man and Anibots!" Dr. Wily said sinisterly. "Welcome to City Hall."

"Wily!" Jason yelled. "We won’t let you get away with this!"

"Ha! I think you will if we show you this," Dr. Wily said and he motioned David to hold up what was in his hand. In his hand was a jar and inside the jar was the mayor, Tanya and Tommy. Dr. Wily had shrunk them to the size of action figures. Tommy and Tanya were pounding on the glass while the mayor sat behind them looking defeated. All the Anibots gasped.

"Proto! Fox!" Jason said. "No!"

"Ha! My little brother is my tiny little brother," David said and gave the jar to Dr. Wily.

"Now, Anibots! Surrender or your friends become Bass’s toe jam," Dr. Wily said.

"Guys, don’t attack," Jason said with his head hanging. "We surrender, Dr. Wily."

"Finally, he have defeated the Anibots and I have the recognition that I have wanted for so long," Dr. Wily said as he held the jar high into the air. The three in the jar fell forward against the glass. "Now, become the size of your friends!" Dr. Wily held the gun up again and shot at the Anibots and the robots. They were hit and began to shrink to the same size as Tommy, Tanya and the mayor. All the Anibots looked at themselves surprised and shocked that they were small. David and Dr. Wily stood over them and Dr. Wily caught them with a fishing net that they couldn’t get out of.

"Ha! You are all literally in the palm of my hand," Dr. Wily said and he gave a sinister laugh. "Wait! That isn’t all of you! Who is missing?!" They took the net and the jar to a big cricket cage. "There is the mayor, Fox and the traitor." They were dumped into the cage. "Now let’s see here." He dumped everyone else into the cage. Tommy helped Katherine up and hugged her. "Oh look at that. The traitor fell in love with the kitten."

"I am not a traitor!" Tommy yelled. "And you are not going to get away with this!"

"Mouse! Mouse is missing!" Dr. Wily said. "Find him, Bass!" He reached to grab the shrink ray gun, but when he looked back to see where it was, it wasn’t there. "NO! Where is it?"

"Here!" Justin said. He had the ray gun in his hand. "Take this!" He shot Dr. Wily and he shrank to the size of the other Anibots. David ran toward him and knock Justin into the hall. Justin had dropped the gun and it skidded to the end of the hallway. Justin and David were fighting each other so that the other couldn’t get to the gun. The two of them then saw that the guards that had been shrunk by Dr. Wily before and that they were grabbing the ray gun.

"Ha! Doc, you got your just deserts!" Tommy said from the bars of the cage.

"At least I’m not in there with you!" Dr. Wily said.

"It’s all up to Mouse now," the mayor said, "and he has to get passed Bass."

"Wily, what do you mean the recognition that you deserve?" Aisha asked.

"I was second place in a lifetime recognition award," Dr. Wily said. "Dr. Light won the award! He said that he wouldn’t be entering into the contest, but he lied. I will never forgive him for that!"

"So, this is all it’s about," Jason said. "You feel like you have been wronged and you wanted revenge."

"Yes! I wanted that award so badly because I had worked almost my whole life to get it. And then, my own collage betrayed me and won the award that I strived for! Damn him!"
Just then, a figure was walking back into the office with the ray gun. In the other hand was the other person who had been shrunk. He came into view. It was Justin and David was in his other hand kicking and punching the air.

"Yes! Alright, Mouse!" Zack yelled.

"Fantastic!" Rocky yelled.

Justin put David into the glass jar and picked up Dr. Wily who was trying to run away and put him in the jar. He released the Anibots front the cricket cage and set them on the ground. He used the ray gun and turned the Anibots and the robots back to normal size. Jason picked up Justin and hoisted him on his shoulder.

"You saved the day, Mouse," Jason said.

"I kind of did and I kind of didn’t," Justin said. "The guards that were shrunk before grabbed the gun and made one of the plants in the hallway grow and it trapped Bass. I grabbed the gun and shrunk Bass. So, we did it. And guess what? I was the tallest Anibot for a while." The Anibots gave Justin an annoyed look.

"I don’t care who help you, Mouse," the mayor said. "You stopped Dr. Wily from taking over. You are the big hero today. Thank you all Anibots."

"No!" Dr. Wily said from the jar. "My plan’s are ruined! RUINED!"

"Dr. Light," Jason said into his buster. "Come in."

"Go ahead," Dr. Light responded.

"We found out why he has been attacking us all this time. It was because you won an award and he got mad because he won second."

"The Lifetime Achievement Award? Goodness! Is that what all this is about? Mega Man! Put your buster up to Dr. Wily so he can hear this." Jason got up to the jar and put his buster on the desk so that Dr. Wily could hear. "Albert, I didn’t even know that I was in the contest. I didn’t even know until the plaque came in the mail. Someone else put my name into that contest."

"I did, Dr. Wily," a girl’s voice said coming from the buster. "I did it."

"Roll?" Dr. Wily said. "You?"

"I didn’t know that this would happen Doctor. I swear. I thought that he deserved the award, but what I didn’t realize is that you were in the running also. You also deserved that award just as much as Dr. Light. I am really sorry I caused you so much anger."

"Roll, thank you for putting things straight with me and everything else," Dr. Wily said. "I guess that I need to get my facts straight before I accuse anyone. I am sorry that I cause so much suffering."

"Thank goodness no one was hurt," the mayor said. "There haven’t been any deaths or injuries due to your attacks, Dr. Wily."

"I deserve to go to jail for what I have done."

"Yes, but I think that I can persuade the jury to let you punishment be cut down. If you plead that you were insane at those times, they might. Plus, I do think that you need counseling."

"Thank you, mayor," Dr. Wily said.

"Mouse, turn them back to normal," Jason said as he moved away. The guards, Dr. Wily and David were put in the middle of the room and Justin turned them back to normal. The guards grabbed Dr. Wily and Bass.

"Wait!" Dr. Wily said. "Bass isn’t guilty of any of this. He was under my control. I need to do something first." The guards let Dr. Wily reach into his pocket. He pulled out a device. "This controls Bass and it used to control Proto Man before as well." He pushed a few buttons and a buzzer sounded. David grabbed his head and fell to his knees. "He is free now!"

"Let Bass go," the mayor said and the guards did as he was told. Tommy came up to David and gave him a huge hug.

"Brother?" David said.

"Bass, it’s ok," Tommy said as tears flowed down his cheeks. "You’re back now. Thank you, Doc. I forgive you."

"Take me away," Dr. Wily said with a smile and began to leave. "Take good care of your brother, Proto. Tell Bass that Treble is his, now; so, tell him use him well." With that, Dr. Wily was escorted to jail.

"Anibots, thank you. All of you," the mayor said.

The biggest late breaking-story on the news was the Anibots’ victory, Dr. Wily’s complete one-eighty and Bass becoming an Anibot. The Anibots listened on the radio in the transport as they were returning home. Dr. Light had some of his workers retrieve the vans that the Anibots had left on the freeway. While they were waiting to return home, Billy took the chip that was on David’s neck out.

"There!" Billy said as he showed David the chip. "It’s gone."

"Thank you, Billy," David said. "Thank you all so much." Tommy came up to him and gave him another hug.

"I was so afraid that I won’t be able to get you back, brother," Tommy said.

The transport touched down and the Anibots went into the debriefing room.

"Well," Dr. Light said. "You all did it! Dr. Wily is in jail and has seen that what he was doing was wrong. Plus, we have a new person here with us." Dr. Light’s meeting was brief. He said that they might need the bracelets still, because of the crime that was in L.A. and rumors that the monster attacks that the Power Rangers were facing were starting to grow outside of Angel Grove and into other cities. After the meeting, Tommy introduced David to the other Anibots.

"Trini, Zack, Kim, Aisha and Justin," Tommy said. "This is David. My brother."

"Nice to meet you, David," Trini said as she shook his hand.

"Pleasure," David said.

"You are really cute," Kimberly said as she shook his hand. Tommy as well as Jason, Trini, Zack and Billy turned beat red out of embarrassment. "What? Just like Tommy." David turned a little red, but Tommy turned scarlet.

"I have heard a lot about you, Kim. Nice things about you." David and Kim looked starry-eyed at each other.

"Looks like another couple is being made here, brother," Tanya said into Tommy’s ear. Tommy laughed.

"Well now, dinner?" Rocky said. The former Rangers talked all through dinner and got to know David a lot better. They talked to Dr. Light after dinner about David staying at the Light Institute and going to school there in January. Dr. Light made no objections. Later that week, they celebrated Adam’s twentieth birthday and then Tommy went with David back to his tribe on the out skirts of Angel Grove and helped him pack. Everyone went back to Angel Grove as well and celebrated the holidays. During the second week of January, the Anibots all moved back into their townhouse. David moved in with Billy, Rocky and Justin since Jason’s room was full. Before school was going to start up again, they wanted to visit Dr. Wily in jail. Tommy and David went in first to see if he wanted visitors.

"Wily," the guard said. "You have visitors."

"Visitors?" Dr. Wily said confused. At that point, Tommy and David popped their heads in. "Tommy and David. I glad to see you."

"Everyone else is here, Doc," Tommy said. "They are wondering if you want to see them."

"Everyone?"

"Yes, even Dr. Light," David said.

"We can set up a room for you if you want one," the guard said.

"Yes please," Tommy said. The guard went out into the waiting room where the rest of the Anibots were and he directed them to a confession room. The guard went and got Dr. Wily along with the brothers. Dr. Light requested that the guards left for a while and didn’t listen in. They granted Dr. Light’s wishes and locked the confession room.

"Thomas, I am so sorry that did all that," Dr. Wily said.

"I know that you are, Albert," Dr. Light said. "I brought Tommy, David and the rest of the Anibots to say hi."

"These kids are the Anibots?! Goodness! They’re only children!"

"Yes and have a lot of experience," Zack said.

"That must be Stingray. No one else on the Anibots can make lines like that besides the little one." Dr. Wily was introduced to all of the Anibots individually. He was amazed that a group of young adults and a teenager were capable of bring him down.

"And guess what? Our reliable source told me that these guys were Rangers before I picked them to be Anibots," Dr. Light said.

"Wait!" Jason said. "He isn’t suppose to know!"

"He knows my reliable source," Dr. Light said. "It’s ok. Oh and Albert. Tommy was a Ranger too."

"DR. LIGHT!" Tommy yelled.

"No wonder he was so good at fighting," Dr. Wily said. "Don’t worry everyone. My lips are sealed. I promised our reliable source that we wouldn’t tell." All of the Anibots were now on edge and a little mad.

"Well, we just want to come and say hi," Dr. Light said. "When is your trial?"

"I had my hearing and they said that because I admitted to my crime, they are going to give me six months of psychological therapy. I think that I need it. After that, I am free to go."

"That’s great, Doctor," Jason said. Dr. Wily, Dr. Light and the Anibots talked for a while. He knocked on the door when their time was over.

"Let’s go. Bye, Albert," Dr. Light said. The guard came and took everyone out. The Anibots all went to their townhouse around three o’clock and just vegetated.

"It’s all over," Rocky said. "No more fighting Wily."

"I am glad that he came to his sense before he got himself into deeper trouble," Katherine said.

"Yeah," Tommy said, "and that everything’s back to normal." Suddenly, the alarms on their bracelet sounded.

"Tommy!" everyone said. "You jinxed it again!" All the Anibots changed into their suits and entered the lab.

"What’s going on?" Jason said. "It can’t be Wily."

"It isn’t," Dr. Light said. "Look!" On the screen, there were a bunch of familiar faces.

"OH NO!" most of the Anibots said out of embarrassment. "Not them again!" On the screen were Rita Repulsa, Lord Zedd, the Machine Empire and Divatox. They had released some of their troops in downtown L.A.

"Man! I though that they learned their lessons from us!" Tommy said as he smacked his forehead.

"Hey, guys!" Jason said with a conniving smile. "Let’s go have fun."

"Right!" the other Anibots said with a smile and they made their way toward downtown. Before they engaged them, they listened in on what they were saying.

"Ha!" Lord Zedd said. "Since that young dim-witted teenager Astronama is taking care of the Space Rangers, we can attack another town and claim it as our own."

"Yeah," Rita said. "Too bad we have to share it with the Kingdom of Crackpots."

"What did you say, Rita?!" Machina said as she advanced onto Rita.

"Girls!" Divatox said as she separated the two. "Dark Spector told us to work together or we can’t do anymore attacking. I don’t like the Machine Empire as much as you do Rita, but we have to do what our master says."

"Machina, do what Divatox says," King Mondo said. "She’s right."

"Elgar, what are you doing?" Divatox said annoyed.

"Seeing who smells worse," Elgar said as he was comparing armpit body odor with Rito.

"Look I win, Elgar," Rito said as he sniffed his armpit then Elgar. Goldar gave moan of embarrassment when Rita pulled Rito by one of his eye sockets. "Ouuua! Let go, sis!"

"Stupid simpletons," Prince Sprocket said under his breath.

"They never change, do they?" Adam said.

"Let’s get rid of the Tengas, Piranatrons, and Cogs first before we engage them," Jason said. "Do it quickly!"

"Right," the Anibots said and they began to eliminate the minions. The bad guys were so busy gripping that they failed to realize that the Anibots had gotten rid of the Tengas, Piranatrons, and Cogs. The Anibots stood in front of a ways away for the bad guys. They finally noticed them.

"Hey, who are you?" Divatox said.

"We are the team that will rid this city of evil," Jason said. "We are..."

"Stingray!" Zack said.

"Phoenix!" Kimberly said.

"Owl!" Billy said.

"Spider!" Trini said.

"Mouse!" Justin said.

"Cat!" Katherine said.

"Fox!" Tanya said.

"Horse!" Rocky said.

"Hawk!" Adam said.

"Bumble Bee!" Aisha said.

"Bass!" David said.

"Proto Man!" Tommy said.

"And I am Mega Man," Jason said.

"And you are toast!" all of the Anibots said at the exact same time.

"Hey! We got a opening!" Jason said satisfied that they had found a good opening.

"Who is this free-lance group of misfits?" Rita said arrogantly.

"Are they trying to be Power Rangers?" Machina said who apparently not impressed.

"Looks like our cousins that didn’t make it to last year’s family reunion, dear," King Mondo said.

"Ha! You all look like something that the Power Rangers swept underneath the carpet," Tommy said. His retort was followed by the Anibots saying "OOOOooah!"

"How dare you insult us, you Ranger-wannabe!" Zedd yelled.

"At least we are not deadbeat bad guys who the Power Rangers defeated the last time," Kimberly said.

"How dare you! Piranatrons, attack!" Divatox yelled, but nothing came. "What?! Where are they!?"

"Tengas! Attack!" Rita and Zedd yelled.

"Cogs! Destroy them!" King Mondo yelled. None of their minions came.

"What?!" Prince Sprocket said sniveling. "Where are they, dad?"

"Lose something?" Jason said sarcastically. Tommy folded his arms and smiled.

"What’s happening?!" Zedd yelled. "Goldar, Rito! Get them!"

"Right, Ed!" Rito said and the two attacked with Goldar’s eye beams and Rito’s arm cannon. Jason charged up his buster and shot at their attacks. He neutralized them. "What the?!"

"Out of my way!" Elgar said and ran toward the Anibots. Justin stepped up and Elgar swung his sword at him. Justin caught it with one hand. "Impossible!" Justin threw the sword back which pushed Elgar into Porto.

"You are all idiots!" Zedd said. "If you want something right, you have to do it yourself!" Zedd pushed Goldar and Rygog out of the way and charged up an energy shot in his staff.

"Mega. Let me handle this," Tommy said and stepped forward taking out his shield.

Zedd fired the electric shot at Tommy. Tommy blocked it with the shield and ran up to Zedd. Zedd came down with the staff, but Tommy dodged it. The both of them got into hand to hand combat with Tommy matching Zedd’s moves move per move.

"Oh come on, Zedd! You can do better than that!" Tommy said as he began to block Zedd’s staff attacks with the shield.

"Oh you...!" Zedd yelled in anger and swung at him again. He faked a swing and managed with one of the points of the Z on his staff hit Tommy and hook onto Tommy’s helmet. "Well, well, well! Look who is in a tight spot now."

"Proto!" Katherine said knowing that Tommy was now in trouble of being exposed.

Zedd pulled as hard as he could and the helmet came off like a bottle being opened. Tommy hid his face from them and retreated back to the line of Anibots.

"Ha! You took a piece of one of them!" Goldar said. Zedd took the helmet off and flung it around trying to taunt the Anibots with it.

"What are you going to do now, weakling?" Zedd said.

"Zedd, he was kicking your butt," King Mondo said.

"Shut up!" Zedd yelled back.

"I am not a weakling, Zedd," Tommy said and he looked up at the bad guys.

"AH! It’s the Red Zeo Ranger!" Prince Sprocket yelled and hid behind his father and mother. The bad guys were shocked by this.

"YOU!!" Zedd yelled in dismay. He had dropped the Proto helmet. "Then are all of you the other Rangers?!"

"Yes we are, Zedd," Jason said. "Now, I suggest you find a new line of work or be beaten by us."

"RETREAT!" Rita yelled and all the bad guys dematerialized and teleported away.

"That wasn’t too hard," Zack said. "They are pansies now."

"I don’t think that they are going to be bothering us anymore," Trini said as the Anibots made their way to the transport. The usual happened when they got back to the lab. Dr. Light debriefed them. That night, Jason and Tommy stayed up to watch a movie on TV.
When it was over, Jason was about to go to bed when Tommy asked him about the battle that happened that day.

"Bro, do you think that Zedd and those guys are going to attack us again?" Tommy asked.

"I don’t know," Jason said with a laugh. "After seeing you and your face, they freaked. I don’t think that they will. Well, I am going to bed. See ya in the morning, Tom."

"I am going to continue watching TV," Tommy said. "See ya in the morning, Jase."

At Dark Spector’s palace, things weren’t going as well for Zedd and the others. Dark Spector was yelling at them while Astronama watched.

"I sent you to do a simple task and you come back failing!" Dark Spector yelled.

"We are sorry!" Divatox begged. "Please give us another chance!"

"Ha! Like that will happen," Astronama said.

"Are you trying to pick a fight with me, wench?!"

"STOP!" Dark Spector yelled. "I will not give you another chance unless my new minion wants to use any of you."

"Thank you, master, but I won’t need their help," Astronama said as she bowed respectfully at Dark Spector.

"Not you Astronama! Him!" The bad guys turned in the direction that he was pointing. A figure came out of the shadows. He was tall, his face was hidden by a helmet that had what seem to be feathered tips on them, and he had a long flowing cape. He was dressed an armor made of rough rock and had the colors of purple, black and green.

"He is my new minion and I know that he will get the job done correctly," Dark Spector said. Astronama along with the rest of the bad guys gave looks of confusion and hate.

"I have already infiltrated them," the new minion said in a snaky voice. "I know their every weakness. I am going to haunt them with them and then crush them."

"How do you suppose to do that?" King Mondo said.

"Though their dreams," he said.
