The Difference: Hk cards are ALWAYS less
money than they JP editions. HK cards can also be looked at as lower
quality for the cards as well. Card images and numbers are the same just
the value is different.
How to Tell: One the back of all cards is printed the company that printed the card (ex. Bandai) and the year .
Also states where the card was made. (EX. Made In Japan) The HK cards state:
"Bandai (H.K.) CO. LTD. (YEAR)" *carddass cards only. Also over on the other side cards usually all say "Licensed by Animation International"
Below is a list of cards and how you can tell by a scan if they are HK or JP!
Banpresto/Bromide/Petite/Battle Cards
I have never seen any of these cards printed in the HK series!
PP (Pull Pack) Cards
These cards are hard to tell if they are HK or JP unless you look at the back! I haven't seen very many of these cards around, but I have seen some from china.
Carddass/ Graffiti Cards
Carddass is the card set I believe with the most HK cards! Whole sets have been sold as the HK version. These cards are easy to determine if they are HK or JP.
