Frumpies
Billy: "uses mystery elements." according to Tobi, but i've seen him using a Fender Jaguar when rocking w/ the frumpsters. I'm pretty sure he's using a Fender amp too, but i could be wrong.
Kathi: On Eunuch Nights Kathi plays a Kay guitar through a Fender amp w/ distortion.
Tobi: For Eunuch Nights played a 1965 Fender Mustang (w/o distortion) and Rickenbacker (for overdubs) though a Fender amp w/ reverb.
Molly: For the single Frumpies Forever Molly used Tobi's early 60's silver sparkle Lugwig kit.
Notes: on the new single frumpies forever the band recorded on a 1979 Tascam Cassette 4 track(also used on Eunuch Nights), a few Sm58's and SM57s. Tobi has said that she likes "high treble" distortion. Like the "yellow MXR" pedals.
When they recorded the guitars for for Eunuch... they recorded them i a garage "trying to get a room sound/feel where the guitars all merged together in one unit not separate from the drums..." During that same session they used an old Echoplex as a splitter.
