Travel August, 2000 Here I am on the Youghiogheny River in Ohiopyle State Park in southwestern Pennsylvania. I'm the one in the back trying to steer the craft through treacherous waters! Hisayo can't believe I got her into this! From the river guide's orientation: "Rafters, make no mistake about what you are getting into: this is not a Disneyland ride, PEOPLE HAVE DIED ON THIS RIVER, someone WILL fall out of their raft today! This is your LAST chance to quit!"
