GhostScript
This is an excellent alternative to Adobe's Acrobat Reader. This program supports a much wider range of file types including pdf files while Acrobat is only limited to reading pdf files. You'll definitely thank me if you want to view other files that are similar to pdf but aren't supported by Acrobat. Plus, it takes the same amount of HDD space as Acrobat so U have nothing to lose. But most importantly, it's free!!! The file is approximately 3.5 MB to d/l.

Tweak UI
Part of the PowerToys created by Microsoft, this little utility is definitely useful. It'll let you logon to your system without the hassle of typing your password every time plus so much more... I like it since it allows me to change my mouse speed without going into the registry. Because the one at Microsoft doesn't allow U to just download this program, I will place it on my HomePage. If you wish to download the whole set of PowerToys, please go to the Microsoft website. To install, unzip the file into your c:\temp directory. Find the file tweakui.inf and RIGHT CLICK this file. From the pop-up list of options, choose the option to install. Reboot if necessary. Now, you can delete the files from your c:\temp directory.

RegClean
Another program created by good ol' Microsoft. This utility will somewhat clean your registry of the junk it contains after uninstalling and installing programs. It doesn't do a very good job but it'll help clean some of the useless registry settings.
