Chapter8:The Ball

The ballromm loked fabulous.  Everything was right down to the 
silverware.  As Serena looked around she could smell the aroma of 
sweets and dinners.  She was wearing her normal gown and 
odangos excited to see what others will wear.  First to arrive was 
Michelle and Alexandra together as a couple.  Hotaru came with 
her parents.  Once about 50 people were in the music started and 
people quickly started dancing.  Darien arrived in a tuxedo, top hat, 
mask, and a rose(for Serena).  Raye came in dragging Chadwick 
behind, who was embarrased from his slick gelly hair.  Mina came 
with Antonio arm in arm looking stunning.  Lita brought in Ken 
who was immediatley embarassed by Lita when she made 
suggestions to the caterers about "How the food could be better".  
Finally the most supprising moment of the night was when Amy 
and Greg arrived. Amyy was absolutely stunning.  She had a blue 
silky dress on conformed to her body, with a slit down the side 
showing off her leg, her top had a slit going down her mid-drift, 
her dress was backless with tiny straps in the back holding the 
dress in place, her shoes were high-heels with straps that ent to her 
knees, her hair was made nicely with some pearls,  andjewerly to 
finish it off.  Men were surrounding her, leaving Greg just lost in 
the sea of boys.  People felt sorry for him afterwards.  People all 
gathered on the floor for a slow couples only dance, Amy was in 
the middle dancing with about 5 guys.  The song was "My Only 
ove" Serena's favorite song. She was of course dancing with 
Darien. She leaned in close slowy drifting along the dance floor as 
if they were floating.  She could smell the colonge on him that was 
like sweet harmony,his touch was so gentle and relaxing, she felt 
so secure with him, so...so safe."Darien...." she broke the silence 
while the music continued on."I love you so much Darien."he 
smiled releacing his grip to look at her"I love you too 
Serena"Serena moved in again and kissed him laying her head 
back down on his broad shoulder. She listened and hummed to the 
song she and Darien clained as their song.She started whispering 
the lyrics softly."  My only love, somewhere far away, in your 
arms I'll stay............."she stopped and just listened in tranquility 
before the song ended.  A few seconds later as it seemed the dance 
was over, the eating was over, even the ball was over.
