Sins of Life
I speak to you, my friend of life
You seek my truth, through searing strife
Within my mind, lie tales untold
And now my friend, you may behold

Before your eyes, I shall present
The lies of truth, then you’ll repent
Before your eyes, I shall display
The truths of life, with no delay

Within the heart, that holds the truth
I shall concede, my heartfelt ruth
Into the dark, we shall embark
To send the light, to set the spark

The truth be told, I shall not lie
A horrid face, it shall deny
A smiley grin, with broken tooth
Shall find no luck, with stuttered truth

The purest skin, the only choice
The father’s tone, the only voice
The few a lot, the lot a few
Shall bring about, the devil’s cue

The brightful mind, seems fully bored
The silent mind, sits still ignored
The running fool, a treasured sight
To be renown, the human plight

The mass decay, of human thought
Send screaming chills, that once were sought
Polluted minds, now walk the earth
Enlarge the gut, of evil’s girth

The songs of wings, that once took flight
Are now encaged, for human sight
The golden trees, who once wore crowns
Are now the seats, of lowly frowns

Perverse with greed, we set on forth
The land to purge, the world to morph
The world that was, the world that is
A world distraught, to human bliss

You seek the truth, so here it is
I give to you, the devil’s kiss
The human line, as though a fife
All played in tune, the sins of life
