There are so many people in this world
sometimes it's easy to get lost
or hidden
in a landslide of life's problems.
But friends are the anchor,
the lifeblood of the heart,
that keeps us from falling into the brink all to often.
These days a good friend is a hard thing to find,
yet I've found it in you,
and I hope you've found it in me.
Because love's laughter holds us, binds us, makes us real.
