Creation or Death

(10-96) In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep; and the Spirit of God was moving over the face of the waters.

And God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light...

...And there was evening and there was morning, a sixth day. Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God finished his work which he had done, and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had done. So God blessed the seventh day and hallowed it, because on it God rested from all his work which he had done in creation. - Holy Bible

There is an emperor named Light in the south; and there is an emperor named Darkness in the north; and there is an emperor named Void in the middle. Light and Darkness often meet in Void's place. Void treated them kindly. Light and Darkness wanted to return the kindness of Void, and said: "Every man has seven apertures (eyes, ear, mouth, and nose) for sight, sound, food, and air; only Void does not have any. Let's create the seven apertures for him." They created one aperture each day. On the seventh day, Void died. - Zhuang Zi
