Ryoga returns to the Tendo dojo to wreak his revenge on Ranma, and it is revealed that he possesses his own Jusenkyo curse. Might this have something to do with Akane's new pet...a small black pig she's named "P-chan"? Ranma becomes jealous...but it'll be Akane's turn for long when Kodachi "The Black Rose" falls in love with him! She challenges Akane to a martial rhythmic gymnastics match with him as the prize, and she'll do anything to win! What's more, P-chan disappears. It turns out he's been abducted by Azusa Shiratori, half of the lengendary "Golden Pair of figure skating," and the only way Akane can have him back is to win their upcoming duel. But that means Akane must team up with Ranma, who accepts the challenge but forgets to mention that he can't even stand on skates! They're doomed to disaster... |

He then weaves a scheme to trap Ranma into a pit full of felines, but what he doesn't know is that when Ranma stays too long in the company of cats he starts acting like one, and hardly anyone can stop him! Also, everyone's favorite Chinese Amazon makes her return...but this time with her great-grandmother Cologne in tow. Cologne is determined to marry Ranma to Shampoo, and she's got plenty of tricks up her sleeve, including preventing Ranma from turning back into a boy! Things get even worse when Mousse arrives and challenges Ranma to a man-to-man fight over Shampoo, and since Ranma's stuck as a girl, she might not be able to handle the "Master of of Hidden Weapons"... |

The only way Ranma can turn back into a boy is if she wins over Cologne and obtains the Phoenix Pill. This proves impossible, especially when the old ghoul unleashes her deadly "Shark Fist" on her... Meanwhile, Ryoga returns from training in the mountains only to be easily beaten by Ranma, who has improved greatly through his run-ins with Cologne. But Ryoga gets his chance to even things up when Cologne offers to teach him the lethal "Breaking Point" technique... What to do, what to do...especially when two new challenges present themselves: a Martial Arts Tea Ceremony contest and a Martial Arts Takeout Delivery race. A new evil rears its ugly head in Nerima, taking the form of Happosai, the perverted martial artist master of Soun and Genma, who's returned after all these years to train the true heir to the School of Anything-goes Martial Arts. Guess who's picked as his newest disciple? You got it...Ranma. Things might have been alright if Happosai's training methods didn't include bath house battles, moonlight serenades and stealing women's underwear. But when Ranma and Genma awaken his anger...watch out! Shampoo also offers Ranma a powder that will cure his curse, on the condition that he go out with her. But the day of their date falls on the same time that the fearsome Dojo Destroyer arrives to challenge the Tendo dojo, and Akane will have to face him alone if Ranma doesn't come to rescue her! Furinkan High's production of "Romeo and Juliet" places Akane in the leading role, thus awakening the interest of such personages as Kuno, Gosungkugi and Happosai for the role opposite her. Ranma stays aloof, but that's before he learns that first prize means a free trip to China...providing him with the opportunity to return to Jusenkyo's Ground of Accursed Springs to seek his cure: the Naniichuan or "Spring of Drowned Man". Ryoga also discovers a map leading to the Japanese version of the aforementioned spring, but one thing stands in his way...it lies beneath the Furinkan girls' locker room - a place tightly guarded by Akane and her troops! On the other hand, Kodachi gets ahold of a photo of her and Ranma in a compromising position, and the only way Ranma can stop her from distributing copies all over town is to destroy the negatives. Needless to say, that's easier said than done... "Never was there a tale of more laughs...than Ranma and his dilemmas!" |

Enter Ukyo Kuonji, okonomiyaki (Japanese pizza) chef par excellence and Ranma's childhood friend. But one thing mars their joyful reunion...she wants Ranma dead! And for reasons a little too mysterious for comfort... On the other hand, Ukyo sets a date between Akane and Ryoga, with disastrous consequences as Ryoga meets his long-lost fiancee! Oh, and have I mentioned that Ranma and Akane both swallow "love pills" supposed to make them fall for the first member of the opposite sex he/she sees...and the reapparance of the myopic Mousse...who hatches a dastardly plot against Ranma involving the abduction of Akane? Ranma runs to Akane's rescue, but apparently fails to rescue her from being hit by water from the Yahzu-nii-chuan...transforming her into a duck! And when Soun finds out, his only solution is to marry them off right away! Uh. Mousse then challenges Ranma to another fight, and he decides to lose on purpose to get rid of Shampoo, but Shampoo is even more determined to have him win... What's more, Ranma has to vie with with mailbox-impersonating Tsubasa Kurenai for Ukyo! Oh brother... Speaking of brothers, Akane also gets to meet Yoiko, Ryoga's little sister he never knew he had, when she comes over to his house for a visit. On top of all this, Ranma, Soun and Genma must retrieve the sroll containing the devastating secret of the "Happo-Fire Burst" before Happosai does... What they don't know is that it's in a hot spring...just when Akane and her friends decide to take a little dip! |

Shampoo comes into the possession of magic mushrooms which she schemes to capture Ranma with...only something happens and messes up the spell. Now whenever someone sneezes, Ranma pounces onto the nearest person. Just his luck that he's home alone with Akane coming down with a case of the sniffles... Akane's never been able to defeat Shampoo, but when she accidentally devours a bowl of noodles known to boost strength, she finds herself more than ready to take her on. Meanwhile, Ranma discovers that the noodles have...interesting side effects, and he has to force Akane to take an antidote before they manifest. Also in this volume, the Principal of Furinkan High returns from Hawaii to implement a horrible hair code...and chooses Ranma as it's first victim! What will Ranma do now? |

Shampoo gets ahold of a magic soap that stops you from changing with cold water if you are Jusenkyo cursed. But somehow, Ryoga gets ahold of it... Now Ranma and Shampoo must team up as Kew and Pid, the Twins of Love, if they hope to trick Ryoga into giving up the soap. But Ryoga has other plans...like asking out Akane now that he's miraculously cured! Also in this volume, Ranma incurs the rage of Happosai which leads the latter to perform a special moxibustion technique on him that makes the victim as weak as a baby. Now even a little kid can beat him. This could be the perfect time for Ranma's many enemies to move in... |

Ranma is still weak as a baby. He's undergone some rigorous training under Cologne's tutelage, but there's no telling if he can stand a chance against Happosai. He's ready to lay everything on the line, and if he masters the deadly "Hiryu Shoten Ha" perhaps he's got some sort of hope... And if that isn't enough, Shampoo brings back two bells that are said to bring together couples, and releases a frightful Ghost Cat! Akane tries to swim, and Genma is made prisoner by a little boy. To show his gratitude for his helping him out in a bad situation, an aging Master of Martial Arts Calligraphy bestows on Ryoga the "Mark of the Gods" - rendering him the strongest man on earth(!), but at the same time the most tragic one as well. Ranma must figure out a way to defeat Ryoga - before Akane discovers what the latter is hiding! Also features Kuno and a magic wish-granting sword, Happosai as Saint Nick(!), and a showdown with the Gambling King - perhaps Ranma's most formidable challenge yet. Our hero goes to all lengths, from masquerading as Picolet's fiancee, wearing an iron corset and starving himself to death, just so he can soothe his injured pride! Meanwhile, Akane finally takes the last straw, and she gives up Ranma to Nabiki? How will Ranma fare being engaged to the greedy sister instead of the violent one? |
