Jinpachi Ogura is one of Alice's classmates who she overhears talking to another boy, Issei, about an odd dream. Jinpachi secretly loves Alice and confesses this to his friend Issei. Jinpachi has some psyhic powers, but is unable to control them.  Even after using them for the first time, he has no idea what happened. Jinpachi has a short temper, and often speaks whatever is on his mind, not realizing that it might hurt someone.  This is the case when he tells Issei that he loves Alice, not realizing that Issei still loves him due to their relationship on the Moon.

Gyokuran and Enju are very much in love with each other, that is, until Gyokuran meets Mokuren.  He then begins to neglect his relationship with Enju in favor of Mokuren, which happens again in his Earth incarnation. Gyokuran has to wear special earrings to control his psychic powers, which explains why Jinpachi seems to have difficultly controlling his own. Shion and Gyokuran were close friends while in school, and knew each other before the mission started.
