Daisuke was, from what I can tell, probably the first to have dreams of his previous life. His first contact with another reborn moon scientist was when he was on a school trip. In junior high school, his bus skidded almost going over a  bridge. It was then that he heard Sakura screaming for Sarjalim to protect them. The "Moon meetings" are held usually at his home in Kawasaki.  Daisuke has a small part in the story, and isn't too involved with the others.

Hiiragi is the team leader and linguist. He is very emotional. A lot of the female scientists find him amusing, because of his over-reacting to a lot of situations. He begins to blame himself for the deaths of the other scientists.
