KADOKANEGUMI

Asaba Tsubaki (15):
One of Tsukasa's classmates. Seemed to detest the katagi in the beginning but has become more open after meeting Tsukasa. Son of a yakuza oyabun. Has a twin sister named Sumire. Was kidnapped in an incident involving Kadokanegumi and Takarabegumi but was saved by Tsukasa and Ryuji. Has lately become a friend of Tsukasa and even hangs around Ryuji. Loves teasing Tsukasa who he knows has feelings for Ryuji. Knows about Tsukasa's true blood, but probably doesn't know that she's a girl.

Asaba Sumire (15):
One of Asago's classmates. The only daughter of the Kadokanegumi and twin sister of Tsubaki. Good at disguising herself. The girl who was originally nicknamed by Tsukasa as the "girl who's gonna be in critical condition" is now friends with Asago. Speaks with the Osaka dialect for some reason while her brother doesn't. Has long dark wavy hair. Kinda looks like Tsukasa when she was wearing the awful waitress outfit. (Note: The first time we see her, she's like Tsukasa in the awful waitress outfit and she does have wavy hair. Lately, she has had straight hair as in the picture to the left.) Doesn't seem to have much physical training. Despises Ryuji, thinking he's not good enough for Asago.

Azuma Haruumi:
Tsubaki's bodyguard. Has a scar under his left eye. A tall man with dark hair. Maybe has some (dangerous) feelings towards Tsubaki (and even Tsukasa) according to Sumire. A shotakon!? Is actually a survivor of the disbanded Hogougumi, and was actually a close attendant to Ayabe Wakasa, the legendary kage no seisai. Knows about Tsukasa's roots, and also that she's a girl. Wakasa had entrusted him with keeping Shiki safe, but was attacked and left on the brink of death when he was saved by Kadokanegumi's anesan. Wants to be of assistance to Tsukasa is she decides to fight against Garyukai. Happens to be Nakamura's 2nd favoutite character.

Asaba Itsuro: The nidaime kumicho of Kadokanegumi, and father to Sumire and Tsubaki. Stubborn. Thick headed. Seems to be able to use a katana. Is worried that if he goes and saves his son that he'll be setting a poor example for the kumiin. Changes in the end.

"The Anesan": The wife of the kumicho of Kadokanegumi (Itsuro), and mother of Tsubaki and Sumire. Highly respected by the kumiin. Have no clue what her name is, only that the kumiin call her "anesan" or "big sister". Got into a dispute with Itsuro about the ways of the members of Kadokanegumi. Headstrong and cares deeply for her children, never wanting them to be dragged into yakuza problems. Has one major fault... she's hopeless with directions. She also admired Hogougumi's kage no seisai. Her conversation with Asago affected the girl deeply, making her the girl she is now (Munakata's lover ©©).
