It's finally here, the section dedicated to my most loved Gundam character Char Aznable. This section will try to trace Char's life and hopefully explains some of the actions he has chosen to take. The information given here is my understanding of the TV series (Gundam, Zeta, ZZ), the movie Char's Counter Attack, and from the Playstation game Zeta Gundam. Therefore, if there are any mistakes or things missing, please email me and I will see to it immediately. Let the journey begin, "Seig Zion"!
Zion Daikun Casper & Altesia
Char Aznable, real name Casper Daikun was the son of a
visionary named Zion zum Daikun. Zion Daikun believed that
newtypes, a new breed of humans with heightened awareness and
empathic powers, would bring peace and enlightenment to mankind.
As a newtype, Zion submitted a request for spacenoid independence
but was assassinated by the Zabi family. The Zabi family took
the Zion name and declared a war of independence against
Earth.
Fearing the Zabis might kill the son and daughter of Zion Daikun, Zion's servant took both of them to earth to flee imminent death. Both Casper Daikun and Altesia Daikun changed their names into Char Aznable and Sayla Mass respectively.
When Char got older, he realized he must avenge his father's death. He entered the Zion military so that he could get close to the Zabis and kill them one by one. He even became best friends with the Zabi's youngest son, Garma Zabi.
When Char graduated from the Zion military, he joined the Space Attack Force and got famous by destroying 5 ships in the Battle of Ruum.
