This page contains some rather quirky stuff that my friends put online.
Klaus again!
Klaus Mueller gets the dubious honor of being included in this page twice with an Associated
Press photograph of a Wimbledon scene . The rest of his
page can be seen at Ohio State .
The first time he got noticed, he got carried away by Christmas (see below).
A seven-year old and Twister mania
Kevin Kelleher who shepherded the Twister
folks around while the movie was getting made in our environs has put up this 4-letter
correspondence
of a 7-yr old kid with the National Weather Service. The kid's "grant proposal" is a blast.
The boredom starts with the ceremony
Vara Calmidi has put up a
wedding photograph of Pammal, a mutual friend.
It's boredom and self-conciousness rolled into one 2D portrait. To be fair though, Indian marriages are
whole-day affairs. You'd have to be superhuman to not be exhausted at the end of it all.
Santa Klaus is coming to town
On Dec. 18, Klaus Mueller writes:
It happened today in the city mall: I was, for the first time this year, deeply
captured by the festive mood of Christmas. The little bells, the childrens
choir, and the green/red shopping bags were so inspriring, I sat down right
away and designed a little christmas card for friends and family. Those without
the blessings of an internet connection were greeted by mail, for everyone else
I made a copy available on my web page. .
Here is Klaus' Christmas card incase he's removed it from his page.
Subbu's dreams.
Here is an extract from Subbu's homepage.
Ravi's girl
Ravi Prakash
went to Japan about a year ago (1995) and was intrigued enough by this
material girl to photograph her in all her glory.
