A week after Amelia decided to helped Lina on her new quest, Lina and Gourry abandoned Amelia on the Seiluun Port while they set sail towards the unknown island. Another week of looking into the endless sea, even Gourry got tired of looking at the fish all day long. Suddenly a sailor shouted and Lina jumped up and ran to the rail of the ship.
Lina: It’s the island!
Gourry: Gee Lina, why are we headed for an island?
Lina hit Gourry on his head.
Lina: Okay, I’ll explain it one more time. Last month when we were traveling, we were at this port, where many sailors were missing after they reach to this weird island so they paid us to find out what happened to them. We weren’t going to help them at first but then they say that there are lost treasures on that island so that’s why we’re here. You get all that?
Gourry: Oh, sorry, I wasn’t paying attention, did you say something?
Lina: I knew you would say that. Anyway Gourry, go pack up our stuff, we’re heading to the island!
Gourry was headed toward the lower deck of the ship when he was stopped by the captain.
Captain: Why don’t you two wait till tomorrow then leave for the island? Plus, dinner is ready.
Lina: I guess it won’t hurt to wait for another day, ne Gourry?
But Gourry already left for his meal and Lina went to join Gourry. Meanwhile, the captain and the sailors gathered around on the deck.
Captain: We must not let them leave the ship. The island is dangerous, they will surely die on the island. But if they do die on the island, we must not let princess Amelia know because then our heads would be in more of a danger.
Sailor: Captain, what should we do?
Captain: I will choose five of my best sailors to come with me to the island, remember, do not let them know that we left! If they ask where I went, tell them that I’m sick and don’t want to be disturbed.
They silently got into the lifeboats and they head for the island while Lina and Gourry are still enjoying their dinner.
Lina: Hey Gourry! That was mine!
Gourry: Irf gof if firsf! [I got it first!]
Lina: No, it’s mine! Gimme!
The five sailors and their captain finally reached the island after sunset. They light up their torches and they headed towards the forest. A figure watch them silently and under the moonlight, then at the ship, a slight smile appear on his face and he disappeared into the darkness.
