1.21.00 Hey! Have I got an update for you! Lets say, oh, how about a trailer to the Oak Chronicles? However, in order to keep the movie bellow 15 mb, I had to use Smacker. For more information on that, see the news section. Well, I would just like to say thanks to all of the Oak Chronicles fans! You have kept this site alive! Alive! We have jumped to 651 on the Pokemon Village Count, and 226 on the Pokemon Top 50 count! We have cleared to 4600+ visits! You guys are awesome. I would like to apologize to all beta test nominees. There were so many; I'm stil picking, so you should hear from me tomorrow! If any of you guys go to school, you know what I mean when I say its Friday already! 1.11.00 Well, its Blastoiseman again. If you still want to vote on the opener to TOC, then check the previous news. I appologize for not having updates, but I have been glued to my computer working on a Beta version of the battle section of TOC. If you would like to Beta Test, let me know. Also, I have a MAJOR debate tournament coming up this weekend at Westside, so I have been working hard on that. However, not to fear. By Tuesday of next week, there should be a major update coming! 1.03.00 | Well, its Blastoiseman again. I started sketching out the opener to the Oak Chronicles. I have three ideas. A) The Red and Blue classic opening. A Lorini will battle a Blastoise. B) Trainer Oak walking home from the Pokemon academy. C) A Star Wars style opener. Submit your opinion to me. You'll notice this is in the news for three days. This is because this is CRUCIAL to the overal envrionment of the Oak Chronicles. I am adding another Battle Scene in the Screen Shots section today, a Rattata versus a Machoke. I am also adding in a Top Sites link to Pokemon Vilage, and Top Pokemon 50, and sending out emails to sites who might want to link to us. Bulbasuar is digging in and writting the crucial stuff like HP for EVERY level of EVERY Pokemon. Whew! Hard work I think. There are 145 Pokemon in the Oak Chronicles, times 100 for each of the levels, and that equals 14,400 HP! Wow! Until next time, this is Blastoiseman. 1.19.00 Emergency Update |
Hey! Have I got an update for you! Lets say, oh, how about a trailer to the Oak Chronicles? However, in order to keep the movie bellow 15 mb, I had to use Smacker. So, you have to have Smacker to run it. What? You don't have it? That's OK! Click here. However, there is one problem. My #*!^$*^ 56k modem isn't to great when it comes to uploading. And, well a 15 mb zip file with a smacker file inside doesn't really handle well when uploading, like it would take me around, oh say, two hours to upload. So, instead, a friend will upload it to an ftp so I can copy it over to our server. It should be up and good to go soon. Also, if you want to beta test the battle app, email me ASAP, testers will be notified if they are indeed testing by this Friday. I will try to get some visual updates as soon as possible. Oh, yes, one last thing. Instead of the junky, classic digital music of Pokemon Blue, Red, Green, Yellow, and Gold and Silver, I will be supplying CD sound. This application is different because it is programmed in VB, not C++ like it will be, and there aren't any battle animations. It is just to test the PokeGraphics, and our data stuff. Although its called screenshots, its not really that, just assorted images. So, I will remove all images but the Opening Scene, and the Battle Images. The world view screenshot was a small portion of just an IMAGE, this isn't a screenshot. The battleview images are from a basic Visual Basic application. There are no levels, and the HP bar doesn't actualy go down. I threw that into the images to make it look real. I added a BUNCH of screenshots today. 9.18.99 Well, it's the second day of work on this site, and I'm proud to announce, it's completed! I've worked all day on this site, and it looks great. I've transferred almost everything from the previous site to here, with the exception of a java chat. I'm thinking it over, and not sure if I like the idea of java chats. I would much prefer using IRC for real-time chat. Every link should work; if not, drop me a line at azn_goten@hotmail.com. BTW, what do you guys think about the layout? E-mail me with any comments. I tried to make it compatible for all screen resolutions, and I think it is. I tested it on 640x480, 800x600, and 1024x768; and they all work. If something's wrong, let me know.
