Phantom on the Moon: Chapter 1-Enter Sailor Moon

20th century- Tokyo, Japan

	It was a beautiful morning in the City of Tokyo.  The Sun was out, a 
few clouds were in the sky, the birds were chirping, and the kids were all 
running to school.  But this peaceful morning was rudely interrupted by a, 
"WAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!  I'M SO LATE!!!!!!  WHY DIDN'T ANYBODY WAKE ME 
UP??????"  In one particular home, a 15 yr. old girl with an unusual hair 
style, done up in two meatballs with two ponytails, one coming out of each 
meatball, dashed out of bed, knocking a black cat, with a yellow crescent 
moon on its forehead, once again into the near by wall.  She ran into the 
bathroom, brushed her teeth, ran back into her room got dressed in her 
school uniform, dashed downstairs, grabbed her stuff, and a piece of toast, 
and was out the door for school in a record breaking 5 minutes, "By Mom, see 
you after school."

	Ellen Tsukino just shook her head, "Just be home in time for dinner 
Serena."    Mrs. Tsukino had on a
pair of bluejeans and a brown blouse.  With her curly shoulder length brown 
hair, she turn to look at the front door from the kitchen just in time to see
the door close.

	From upstairs, in Serena's bedroom, Serena's cat, Luna, watch her 
charge run down the sidewalk to school.  While rubbing her head she muttered,
"I'll never learn to not sleep at the foot of her bed, will I?"

	On Serena's way to school, she heard a familiar voice call, "Serena, 
wait up!"  She stopped to turn around and saw Molly trying to run for dear 
life, and catch up with Serena.  Serena and Molly have been best friend since
grade school.  Everyday they saw each other was enough to brighten both their
days, next to when Serena ever ran into Darien, literally.  Molly stopped 
next to Serena on the side walk,  "Hay Serena.  Where's your cousin Renee?  
Don't you usually take her to school?"

	Serena's happy face disappeared after Molly asked her question.  True
the two often annoyed each other, but the two always liked each other, but 
never admitted it to each other, even before they found out their relation 
being mother and future daughter.  Serena tried to plaster the smile back on 
her face, "She went back home to her parent's yesterday Molly." 

	Molly grew a sad face, "Sorry Serena didn't mean to bring it up."  
Despite their bickering, Molly knew the two liked each other, but kept quiet.

	Serena looked shocked, "What do you mean by that?"

	Molly decided to come clean, "Serena don't play dense with me.  
Despite what I saw, I knew the two of you liked each other like you were 
sisters or something."

	Serena gave up, "Am I that transparent?"

	 "YA!!  You always have ever since we met."  Molly stated matter of 
factly. 

	Just then a bell rang and Serena slumped her head, "Great, I'm late 
and it's another day for detention."  The two ran the rest of the way to 
school.

	To the surprise of both Serena and Molly, not to mention Lita and 
Amy, who are in the same class as Serena, Ms. Haruna didn't give them 
detention.   Serena thought.

	At lunch Serena Ate her lunch.  To the shock of her entire class, and
Ms. Haruna, Serena saved her lunch, for lunch.  Amy and Lita were a little 
worried about Serena.  Ever since Renee went home yesterday, Serena has been 
a little depressed.  "Serena are you all right?"

	Ya Ames, why do you ask?"

	Lita spoke up, "We've noticed how upset you were when Renee left to 
go home yesterday."  Lita was a tall amazon girl with a school uniform 
different from the rest since the school had none in her size.  She has brown
hair done up in a ponytail reaching the bottom of her neck.

	Serena raised her voice into the air, "What is this, Serena is 
Transparent day.  First Molly, now you guys.  But to answer you question 
truthfully, that's only half the reason I'm upset."

	Amy, and Lita looked at each other, puzzled, before Lita asked, 
"What's the other half?"

	This topic has been on her mind ever since the day she became Sailor 
Moon, Even though the rest of the girls were clue lesss about it "Well, I'm 
getting tired of keeping a certain secret from a certain friend of mine, but 
I know I can't tell her."

	Amy was quick to catch what Serena was talking about.  Her uniform 
was the same as Serena's and she had blue, short hair, "How long has this 
been on your mind?"

	"Since day one Amy.  And now it's starting to drive me crazy."

	Amy just smiled, "Why don't you just talk to Luna about it?  She 
might be able to help you settle this dispute your brain is going though."

	Serena Gave a small smile, "I'll think about that."    Just then the bell rang, "Time to get back to class. 
I'll talk to ya later tonight guys."

	"O.K. Serena, Talk to ya then."  Both Lita and Amy shouted before 
running to their next classes.  Serena ran to her class feeling like a little
load was lifted off of her shoulders.  

	After school, Serena decided to take a walk into the park to think.  
Her walk ended up taking her to the very pier where a certain pink haired 
girl landed on her head.  She began thinking of all the good times she had 
with her and how much she missed her.  After a while, she began smiling at 
all the thoughts.  

	"Penny for your thoughts Meatball head?" said a very familiar voice 
that always brought happiness to Serena's day.

	Serena turned around. "Darien!!!  What brings you here," she asked as
she ran into his arms.

	Darien just smiled, he has black hair and blue eyes, and was wearing 
bluejeans and a black shirt.  He always like holding his princess at times 
like these, "I just got off of work and noticed you here on my way home.  
What about you?  What brings you here?"

	Serena looked up at him, "I decided to take a walk and ended up here.  
I felt like I need to think some things through."

	"Like what?"

	"About Renee and things seem to go down hill sometimes with me and 
Molly these days."

	"Cheer up Meatball head.  I'm sure you and Molly will work something 
out," Darien only knew too well how Serena and her best friend seem to drift 
apart these days, "Listen I got to go get my dinner going.  I'll see you 
later Serena."  Darien began to leave, but not before he stole a kiss that 
took both their breaths away.

	"Bye, Muffin, See ya around," Serena yelled after Darien.  Serena 
looked at the sunset for another half hour before she started home.  However 
she didn't walk 5 steps before she noticed someone else was right in front 
her and she gave a yelp, "YIKES!!!  Sailor Pluto, you scared the living 
daylights out of me."

	"Sorry for disturbing you Serena but I need your help," Pluto stated 
in tone of urgency.  Then she looked around and noticed the others were not 
around, "Where are the other scouts?"

	Serena heaved her shoulders, "They all went home right after school.  
I was about to head home myself when you appeared out of nowhere.  Why do you
need them to?"

	Sailor Pluto shook her head, "Their is no time, you must come with me
at once."

	Serena began to get worried, "Pluto what's wrong?"  Instead of an 
answer, she and Sailor Pluto disappeared into the time stream.

The Time Stream

	While in the time stream, Pluto explained everything that's been 
going on in the Silver Millennium, which brought shivers down Serena's spine,
"You've got to be joking.  He's alive and threatening my mother?"  
Pluto nodded.  "All right lets get going."   Serena ran to the gate of time so fast, she almost hit it before 
Sailor Pluto opened it.   Pluto 
thought before following Serena in.

10th Century - Silver Millennium - the Moon

	It's nearing dinner time, and everyone was in a frantic.  Queen 
Serenity was expecting Sailor Pluto and her guests any minute and she had to 
through everything in at the last minute for the ball she scheduled early 
this morning.  Out of all the people in the palace, however, it was the 
Younger scouts that were excited the most about the coming guests.

	Princess Mina, Younger Venus and leader of the Younger Scouts, spoke 
up, "I wonder what the future scouts are like!!!"    For the occasion, the Younger 
Scouts were attending the ball out of uniform and in party dresses.  Princess
Mina wore an Orange Sleeve less dress that went down to her knees.

	Princess Amy, Younger Mercury, was wearing the same thing only blue 
and was shoulder less too, "Who knows, but maybe they can give us a challenge
at training exercises!!!"

	Princess Lita, Younger Jupiter, spoke up, "Amy, this is a party, try 
to relax and not think about training or school work for once O.K.?"  Amy 
blushed.  "And besides," Lita continued, "I just want to get to know them 
when they get here.  Does anyone know how old they're suppose to be?"  Lita 
was wearing a Green Sleeve less dress that went down to her ankles.

	Princess Ray decided to answer that one, "I did a Fire reading when I
heard the news and found out they are our age!!!  Not to mention now I'll 
have two Meatball heads to worry about."

	This drew some curious glances from the other Younger scouts, "You 
mean one of them looks similar to Princess Serenity," Lita asked.

	Before Ray could answer, one of the servants came out of the dining 
room and informed them it was time to eat.  Dinner was pretty quiet for the 
Younger Scouts as they devoured not only the food, but the information they 
got from Ray.

	The Doom Phantom was not unaware of the palace activities going on 
there, "Looks like they're about to celebrate something.  Guess I'll just 
send someone to crash the party.  Droid Onix come forth.  Today the Royal 
Moon family will die. hahahahahahaha."

	Back at the palace the party had started and everyone was having a 
good time.  Queen Serenity was talking with the Elder scouts while Princess 
Serenity was talking with her royal guard, "So everyone psyched up about 
Scouts from the future," She could barely contain her own excitement, "I know
I am"

	"You know, Serenity, I sometimes wonder what's worse, your bottomless
stomach or your ditziness, of course we're excited about the guests," teased 
Younger Mars.

	Princess Serenity just answered, "Ray, why are you always so mean?  
Normally I'd be wailing by now, but I'm too excited to do that so 
phphphphphphphp."

	"Oh ya, phphphphhpphph"

	"phphphphphphphp"

	"Will you two knock off the tongue war," interrupted Amy, "This is a 
ball, not a playground."    Just then, there was an 
explosion in the center of the ballroom.

	Just outside the palace, the time gate appeared and two figures 
stepped out of the time stream.  The Guards at the palace gates walked to 
them both and bowed, "Welcome to the moon Sailor Pluto, and miss."

	Serena and Pluto returned the greeting and started walking to the 
ballroom with the guards for escorts.  Serena needed some answers and decided 
to talk to Pluto real quick, "Pluto, when are we exactly, and what are the 
current events?"

	Since they were discussing the present, well the present time that 
is, Pluto didn't see it necessary to dismiss the guards, "Princess Serenity 
turned 13 just a few weeks ago, and is currently betrothed to Prince Darien."

	Serena got the picture before Sailor Pluto could continue, "Thanks 
I've got all I think I need to know for now Sailor Pluto."  Pluto nodded her 
head just before they heard an explosion coming from the ball room.  "Time to
go work, MOON CRYSTAL POWER."

	Most of the guest managed to get out of the ball room when a very 
large monster that looked like is was living rock snake about 28 feet long 
appeared from under the ground.  It first knocked out the Elder Scouts, and 
made the Younger Scouts pretty dazed.  Princess, and Queen Serenity were 
trying to escape it with no luck.  Finally, both Serenity's tripped and fell.
The Huge Droid saw its opportunity and raced to finish them off.  Both 
Serenitys braced them selves and closed their eyes expecting the end, it 
never came.

	Just before the monster could finish them off, someone shouted, "DEAD
SCREAM."  An energy blast hit it on the side and rolled over, in a lot of 
pain.

	Everyone turned to see Sailor Pluto pointing her time staff at the 
rock creature.  Then up on the second floor balcony, someone else shouted, 
"Balls are for people to have a good time, not to be attacked by an, Onix?? 
For harming 
these people, I won't forgive you.  I am Sailor Moon, the champion of 
justice.  And I say on behalf of the moon, I will right all wrongs and 
triumph over evil, and that means you."  Queen Serenity, Princess Serenity, 
and the now recovered Younger Scouts looked up and saw a Sailor Scout wearing
red knee high boots, blue skirt, a blue and white sailor scout outfit, white 
gloves, a tiara, and two red jewels in her hair.  Sailor Moon jumped down to 
the ball room floor, and ran to Younger Mercury, "I'm going to need your 
help.  This thing is week against water."

	Younger Mercury nodded, and got up to perform her attack, "MERCURY 
BUBBLES..................BLAST."  A stream of bubbles from Mercury leapt out 
and hit the droid just as it got back up.  It began to howl in pain.  That 
was Sailor Moon's cue.

	Sailor Moon took out her scepter and stared her attack, "MOON SCEPTER
ELIMINATION."  A crescent moon shaped energy beam leapt out to the droid.  It
howled again in pain one more time before it turned into dust, "Boy, am I 
glad that is over."

	After everyone had recovered, and Sailor Moon powered down, Sailor 
Pluto decided to make the introductions, "Everyone, this Serena Usagi 
Tsukino.  She is Sailor Moon, leader of the 20th century Sailor Scouts."

	After all the curtsies and exchanging hellos, Serena said, "First 
things first.  I hate Formalities, so please, don't feel you need to bow or 
curtsy to me, O.K.?"  This made everyone laugh.

	Queen Serenity managed to get her laughter under control to say, 
"Serena, I think you and my daughter will get along just fine while your 
here.  I'll have someone escort you to you chambers were you'll stay while 
your here."  She looked around and noticed something, "Where's the rest of 
your team?"

	Sailor Pluto answered that, "There wasn't time to find them cause 
they were not with her when I found Sailor Moon."

	"O.K., guards, see to it Serena is taken to her guest room," Queen 
Serenity ordered.

	"Mom, I'd like to go with her," Princess Serenity begged.

	Serenity smiled, "All right, but make sure you get to bed in time."

	"All right, Mom"

	From just out of sight, a lone figure watch the conversation, "Well, 
this time I wasn't needed, but sooner or later, that will change."  Then, the
figure walked off.

	"Blast, what happened to my droid,"  The Doom Phantom was very angry,
"how could those people have defeated my pokemon droid.  I guess I'll just 
have to Heat things up a bit."
