Listening to: To the Light -- Hattan Amika
Wow, I seem to start a lot of my entries at 9:51. Weird.
Ugh-ness. I need a good name for mah ancient greek theatre site. It's hard to think of names. I'll ask random people tomorrow, maybe they'll give me ideas. For now I'll go crazy with frames ^_^ I luv frames.
I was so caught up in making mah site yesterday that I...heh, it's better to describe the whole thing rather than summarize it. Here we go.
Night. Somewhere around 11:30 PM. Angie reluctantly closes Adobe Photoshop and Winamp. Turns her computer off. Fixes her bed, does all the stuff she normally does before going to bed, and climbs under the covers. Reaches for the Akutagawa Ryunosuke book she's been reading for a week now. Briefly glances at her alarm clock to make sure it's on. Scolds herself for not cleaning up her desk after the weekend. And sees a green spiral notebook and a green portfolio. Suddenly remembers that those were taken out upon getting home from school and realizes she has homework to do. Shrieks. Tosses her book on the pillow and leaps toward her backpack. Digs through it until she finds a math book, a calculator, and a pen. Grabs the history textbook from a chair, barely suppressing the urge to spit on it. Heads toward the bed and throws her stuff down. An hour and a half of homework ahead of her...
Well, the homework was successfully completed, and I wasn't even tired this morning. Good, ne? *runs off to bother parents about site title*

Listening to: Blue As the Sky -- CHAKA
*_________*
*shrieks happily* XD I got a perfect score on mah math test! That means that I have a shot at getting an A for the semester! Whee! *kisses her test paper* All the studying paid off! Actually, no, it was all the sugar I ate before the test! It's all about the sugar! ^_^ Mr. Knowles was handing out the tests, and I was one of the last ones to get mine back. All the people around me got their papers back, and I was looking at their almost perfect scores, green with envy. I swear I was ready to choke Srikanth and Gaudenis with their 99's. But then Mr. K handed me my test and (dig this) suggested that I get a game of blind poker going with all of "them" (meaning Danielle, Srikanth, Joyce, and Gaudenis). I went..^__O "Huh?" and looked at my paper. And there it was! A three digit number written in red on top of my test right next to the "Chapter 6" title. I swear I cried tears of happiness. Just imagine, now it's possible for me to get an A in calculus! Of course, I have to get a perfect on the text test and a 94 on the final (the numbers can vary slightly, of course), but still...
Hehe, I did even better on the MAA test than I thought ^^v I thought I had gotten an 84, but in reality it was 92! Whee-ness. And the cut-off score is amazingly low this year -- 62. Usually it hovers around 70 or 75. *shrugs* Oh well.
Working on the history site is loads of fun at times. I just got done making this neat little mouseover image map. I hope Ms. Bernstein likes it.
That's it for now, mangs! =>^,^ (I wrote this last paragraph just to show off the smiley face I invented. It's blowing a kiss. Ain't it cute?)

Listening to: Luna -- BSSM
Woo-hoo, I just downloaded the new version of Winamp and it's totally fantastic, mangs! And the skin I downloaded in honor of this update...the skin...*dies* It features Hot Ice Hilda from Outlaw Star and looks so sleek...I love those kinds of skins. So professional. Too bad I don't know who made it.
Ugh, making a decent-looking history site is hard work. I've been working on it forever, but to no avail. But I'm not giving up! I have to make the wonderful site I promised to Ms. Bernstein...No choice, mangs. My grade depends on it.

Listening to: Lively Motion-- Megumi Hayashibara
I've gone on a Megumi Hayashibara craze. I've been downloading her songs like crazy. But hey~ I've always been slightly deranged, ne?
I had this humongo calc test today and...and I think I did okay! *cries tears of joy* I studied forever, so I managed to finish the test in half an hour (usually it takes a whole hour) and actually had time to check my work. AND I knew how to do every problem! Usually Mr. Knowles puts really hard problems on his tests and only Anna and Srikanth, the resident geniuses know how to do them. But this test was actually, dare I say it, pretty easy. I hope-hope-hope I didn't make any dumb math errors.
Heh. This is kind of funny (well, not really, but still). I went into the math office today after school to sign up for the Memorial Math Meet, and Mr. Knowles called me over. I was like...@_O "Mr. Knowles, did I fail the test?" And he told me that I was getting a hundred so far (he prolly graded the first page or the first two pages). *_______* I was grinning like an idiot. And then he said that I did well on the MAA test that I took yesterday and that I can advance to the next level. The thing is, there are two different versions of the second level test, one for grades 9-10, and one for grades 11-12. Now, as a sophomore in a senior math class, which version do I take? Mr. Knowles said that I should do really well on the 9-10 one, and that the 11-12 should be more challenging. I told him I'd think about it over the weekend. I will probably end up taking the harder one, for fear of messing up on the easy one and being the laughinstock of the whole school. Of course, it will be like that Marquette math meet last year...I was on the advanced team, and all my grade level friends were on the intermediate team. They all won awards. And I, being the Pre-Calc person on a team of Calculus 2 and 3 people, didn't get anything except for the satisfaction of taking a much harder test. *thinks really hard about which test she should take* I'll have to call my fellow sophie calc people. Travis and Kevin, prepare to be annoyed by my excessive chatter!
