Miracle Girls Matsunaga Tomomi and Mikage are twins, with opposite interests though very much close to each other, with the psychic link. Their powers don't seem to be limited to telepathy, however. With physical contact, they are able to teleport towards limited distances. At first, it seems like a story depicting a life of an unusual pair in an ordinary life... At first. The story opens with the news that Mikage's love interest is leaving to study in England. What should she do? But that doesn't wipe him off from the cast list as Mikage often "visits" him. Of course, the writers decided that a love story/coming of age story wasn't enough. Insert... the legend... A pair of flowers growing outside the girls' window seem to be resonating with their power, also causing a reaction to a similar pair of flowers and twins in England. And according to legend, the twins of l ight and the twins of darkness shall soon meet to settle a grave matter...
What do I think? First off, this series must have been aired around the late '80s, early '90s. It's not an incredibly fast-paced story, but what specific "ordinary life" story is? It has a sweet enough story. And pretty funny at times. I wouldn't rate it among the best I've seen in its near genre (take for example, KareKano if you place it under relationship story) but it rates well enough. The music used in the series is pretty melancholy. For those who don't have very high patience, this might not be the show for you. :)
