INTRO:

Ever since this page started way back, one of the nicest things I've realized is that there are so many nice people out there who are willing to help out.  There were so many nice folks who have contributed info that helped clarify the origins of the series, and some who are even go as far as to write me a whole synopsis of the series.  To everyone, thank you!!  ^_^  If anyone out there has anymore info on Dokusen Yoku or info on her doujinshi career, please drop me a line!  Thanx again!

LZhang  -  Overall synopsis of Dokusen Yoku.

A nice passerby kindly contributed this summary for all the poor souls out there (me included! ^^;;;) who have the books but don't have a clue what it's about!  Email her at LZhang@aol.com if you are interested in contacting her for more information.

Summary:

DuZhanYu is very much like Bronze/Zetsuai.  The two main characters are, (this is the Chinese pronunciation of their names to the best of my ability), Rixiang (the Takuto look-alike)and Luodao (the Koji-look-alike).  They're both enrolled in a school that focuses on soccer. This school has won the national soccer championship and I believe, but I am not sure, that they have also won an international championship before.

Rixiang and Luodao were childhood friends. Luodao is a goalie, and a very good one supposedly since he is the only one who can catch Rixiang's balls. Rixiang excels at scoring and is the only one who can score in Luodao's goal.  Luodao has been in love with Rixiang since he was 14.

In the fourth book Luodao overuses his arm and manages to sever a nerve and spends a good portion of the story in recovery.  He tries to commit suicide when he lost the use of his arm. Luodao is also very possessive (hmm..) and attempts to kill Rixiang many times.  He later stops and becomes very regretful of his actions.  Rixiang loves him so much that he couldn't live without him so he attempts to commit suicide with him.  But before they succeed Luodao changes his mind, and somehow manages to carry Rixiang to the hospital, so both of them survived.

Luodao's family finds out and didn't like what was going on. He comes from a very rich and big family that specializes in martial arts. (very similar to Koji's family)  So his family kepted him locked up and forbids him to see anyone.  When Rixiang finds out he fought his way to see Luodao.  Luodao's family won't let him see Luodao, so Rixiang threatened that if they did not let him see Luodao he would die right there and Luodao will join him. Luodao family gave in, and allowed Luodao to meet Rixiang. They met each other that night and made their escape.

Rixiang's father died when he was five and he lived with his mother and his siblings.  And I think Rixiang's mom was going to remarry, they were both 16 I think.

After staying one night in a hotel Rixiang made Luodao promise that he would get his arm fixed. Rixiang spend the next 3 month by himself while Luodao had surgery and rehabilation.  When finally Luodao recovered, he swept Rixiang off his feet(literally).  Then Rixiang and Luodao started to play soccer again.

The sixth book talked about the time Luodao told Rixiang that he was in love with him.  He was not very nice about it at all.  They were having a fight, because Luodao was dating the most popular girl in school and was ignoring Rixiang. Then Luodao lost control and raped Rixiang.  Afterwards, he disappears for about a week.  Rixiang gets confronted by their friend, becomes enraged and while running away, runs straight into Luodao.  His anger overcomes him and he begins to beat Luodao, until he realizes that Luodao was hurt and bleeding.  He stops and tries to call for an ambulance.  Luodao stops him and tells him how much he loved him.

The seventh book takes a different path, starting with a strange Nazi gay sex story, not much point.  The characters do look like Luodao and Rixiang, but are not related.  Then the second story has Luodao substitute as Kouji, but it didn't make much sense and did not really relate to the story either.  Kouji and Luodao do not like each other at the first glance.  They constantly compete who is the better lover and the second part of the story is about a soccer competition when Takuto gets transferred to Luodao and Rixiang's school, which didn't make sense at all.

Next story was about the aftermath of book six and how Rixiang could not accept Luodao's feelings.  Then there are some more sex stories with Kouji and Takuto, and Luodao and Rixiang.  Then the last story was about Luodao and Rixiang at 26 and still together (^^).  They were on some secluded island by themselves and enjoying each other. That's the end.
